TBH Zera this is a very simple text based game on a standardised Database that really hasn't changed massively for best part of 15 yrs. It's remarkably easy to keep the database clean and defragged, Jason just cannot be bothered.
I nagged him to do it near the end of the 2nd server war when the game was running slow, he did it and 15 mins later there was almost no lag.
He's just lazy, simplez.

perhaps he should hire help... A gamer who doesn't require lots of income or a full time job

I thought he killed half the inactive accounts which is what resulted in less lag? He could do it again I guess but it bodes ill for the newish folks who farm inactives...

I only get turn lag sometimes, most of the time no lag at all. Ur computer just sucks

Hmm a Pentium II is good enough to play GW on... though a lousy internet connection could indeed cause lag problems.
Recently, things have been ok though in terms of speed
