I need to start getting my ass in gear with this now..

Let me think. Birmingham might be a reasonable location.. it's a little further south.

Anyway... I'm thinking Birmingham vs Manchester is what it's come down too, both have numerous trains going through them and Manchester has an airport with plenty of domestic flights in and out. So i'll do some research on venue's for the two places and come back with the best location.

If anyone has a particular problem with either of the above.. give us a shout why asap please!

Birmingham is OK... but i dont like it as a place. Its a horrible city. No offence...

...Manchester is a nicer city, and i think it has a much better night life...

Would still prefer Manchester. I've never been to Birmingham in my life and actually intend on keeping things that way.

I've always wondered what it would be like to attend one of these. I suspect very surreal. Luckily Manchester is not on the London Underground network so I have a very valid excuse not to attend.

Euston is though isn't it? Or at least it's fairly near/easy to get too. You should come... all are welcome and wanted tbh.. this is the last one i'll likely attend and Buck and a few others are less community conscious these days so this may actually be the last chance to do so and the train goes quite nicely from London to Manc.

Right good. Manchester.

Now... date. How are we looking for a date then chaps? Would anyone be averse to end of February? Say... Saturday 25th?

Once I know date, I can find final Venue.

I doubt i'll be able to make anything that early in the year, Christmas stole all my spare (and not so spare) cash for a while :(

Edit - I just checked, for a return to Manchester on the preposed dates it would cost me £70. That's with the early booking discount.

£70 + money for food, booze and accomadation, too rich for me unfortunately.

Ah good, another excuse for me not to attend. I'll be away doing a course that weekend. :-D

The date seems to be OK for me. The later it is the more time I have to learn speaking/talking English! (j/k)
