Since it uses JS already (which is totally unnecessary for this page imho) it could load the different pages in an AJAX way, and not just scroll to them. Also people are loading this page to log in, and now they need to click one more time or scroll down before they type in their login details. I know it looks good that you dont see the login form at first but its less usable (or it might be because of my small laptop screen). And the double doctype declaration is just a typo I guess.
Other than these, the background looks nice. I like space backgrounds.

There is a separate thread for the login screen chatter:
viewtopic.php?f=39&t=188745&p=2395431#p2395431And yes d347h 12 at night, coding isnt the best, i have to run through to remove scraps.
Other than that people don't get tired from clicking one more button, plus there is a direct login from main thats possible.
@Norbe, ya i have had a few requests, i'll change it later.

well FF is up to version 8 so i would recommend upgrading, actually since its such an old version i doubt it would render much of the new web 2.0 stuff.
you can try the gaterwars.com/login_plain.php or whatever it is

Yeah, it doesn`t work with Internet Explorer. Atleast for me.
I`m unable to click on the text fields to enter my information. I have to use tab to cycle through the fields and even tab+enter to press the login button.
I hope IE compatibility is coming soon.

Well, I believe is just fixed it about 10 mins ago, the problem now is getting admin to update it

Fixed the chrome issue as well.
Browser compatibility is almost as worse as java and its strongly typed language.
Use firefox. Or the plain login form. There are about a trillion threads around with it in.

It will be different for everyone just depends on the browser and screen settings, using firefox on my laptop it was good (which is what i was building off) using IE it was bright, using my desktop computer with firefox it looked dull but quite rich in colour.

Thanks, luckily i remembered you posting about using the ipad and how it worked fine, i was going to include the ipad as a 'mobile device' so it would use the plain login form, but i changed it after that, its all good

I'm thinking he meant that the ipad would display the plain login. Not an app?
An app would indeed be awesome.
