in the past we were given a free ppt over the Christmas/Boxing Day break, but we get those free gifts instead.

there is nothing stopping those that want a ceasefire from using ppt for that time..

I honestly think the idea of promoting server-wide ceasefires on the grounds of religious reasons is a particularly bad idea as it will ultimately lead to certain levels of discrimination (through sheer lack of awareness) to other religious sections of people ie. some may demand their own PPT/Holiday period. The worse scenario is that we all end up on PPT for half of the year. Not so much a war-game now is it?

The most positive solution is to simply have alliance leaders such as yourself Bruno to come forward as you have done here and express a desire for a ceasefire. Anyone who fails to acknowledge such can just wait until the new year to have a can of whoop-ass opened on them should you feel it justifiable (where no effort has been made to acknowledge a period of holiday for those that celebrate it). Makes sense to me.

There is always a Christmas day PPT issued server-wide anyway, in addition to opting to take your own PPT's from your market expenditure.

Anyway, happy holidays to one and all. I won't be warring here, I'll be warring with a large bottle of Jack.

GR there hasn't been a server wide ppt XMAS Day last 2years, since Admin decided to give gifts instead.. last year he gave us options of turns etc like this year, the year before it was an optional ppt to use when you wished..

funny thing of all it started as a Pagan Ritual which the Christians hijacked..

Ah, my apologies for the incorrect statement then. Saying that I've had much better things to be doing as we all have on Christmas day to even notice that that hasn't happened for the last two of seven.

**Filtered** Christmas. It used to piss me off when Jason stuck everybody on an involuntary PPT for the duration, as it would have been an ideal time to farm. Save the Christmas spirit for Hallmark.

Mordack used to be one of Santa's elves before he was banished for not paying his rent. Which, in his fairness was due to the bank being closed over Christmas with Mordack being too busy doing overtime making toys. He never forgave Santa for treating him like this. He always suspected there was some sort of grudge against him.

So that folks, is the story of why Mordack is a bah-humbug.

If anyone wants a war free zone over christmas then hit vacation mode and you will get war free. Simples.
