I think we should give more credit to SuperSaiyan unless of course he rejects my bid for a "Grizzliest player of the Year" award, In which case I completely agree with Semper and shall assist him in tooting the pessimistic horn that the sgw community so thrives upon.

Last year the HoF nominee's were pretty good really, they could have gone worse but turned out quite well.

Some of the rules suffered though (being able to vote your own dudes in the HoF for example because it allows alliances to mass vote someone in and when you have alliances/empires of 20+ it's easy enough to get 10 votes ontop of that it sort of contradicts the purpose of us working years to make the awards as least bias as possible, the award HoF is based on the idea that players from all of the community respect the individual, if they're worthy of the hall of fame it shouldn't be too much of an issue to get 10 non-alliance votes) and alliance of the year being removed was... well.. oh dear god is all I can say to that.

Did you miss the 'for example' part?

Added to that the HoF is arguably the most prestigious award as it's one that rewards not just being a rockin god ingame but also community, politics and beyond AND it's harder to get into... it's not just another 'who's the best spammer/sig maker/trader/poster/warmonger of the year'.
