I fail to see how the last bit matters, at all.
I'm afraid to touch him, physically, as he might like it

Niem you are blowing this WAY out of proportion. If people tracked down all trolls to do stuff to them then half the internet would no longer use it.

First we kill all the lawyers, then the trolls.
And yes, Andy, some things that people say online they
should be physically punished for. If you can find them, you can touch them. If you can't find them, don't bother.

Yeah I honestly wouldn't bother if it were something "acceptable", even on a trolling level. But seriously, asking me if I raped that girl as well (indicating I actually raped someone before which of course is a big lie), that's beyond normal and that's why I wanted to know. These are things people should be punished for. If someone spreads lies so serious about you, you are free to press charges, so why should lies, serious and downright malicious lies, on the internet be acceptable to be spread around with no consequences?

You realise its the internet right? IF you look out of your window you might just see a whole wide world out there for you
I'd suggest just turning the screen off and going outside for a good 15minutes to get some perspective
Trolling whoever it is in return for their actions is just as bad.
That said;
If you really want to do something and your country's laws back you on this (For example in the UK, it is a crime to send an offensive message via a communications network) you can hire a private lawyer who can contact youtube on your behalf highlighting the relevant law & make a request for the user information. You should then be able to use that information to find an ISP, who again when contacted with the relevant laws and supporting evidence should hand over the information of the registered ISP account holder. You can then start a private prosecution against this person under whatever laws you used to get the information. I sugest starting along the lines of slander/libel etc
***All of the above does not, I repeat not constitute valid legal advice. It is mearly a suggestion of how to you *may* be able to proceed depending on your local laws and how willing/determined you are to see this through.***

He just knows the guy. Don't you know people who you would
want to hit sometimes, but you do not hit them, because they might like it?
I have gotten myself out of at least 3 fights with a superior foe (read: the fat kid with anger issues) in high school that way.

Yeah like Julietta said.. I have nothing against homosexuals in general (heck Freddy Mercury, one of my top singers ever liked men), but if you knew the guy, you'd know what I mean.
PS:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWXClVDb ... e=youtu.be another video. That's the I Love Rock N' Roll cover we did on that gig so you should now know what the song is about, if any of you is interested in listening to it

Well it's her first appearance that so many people came to watch. And she's only 13 so yeah, she has to learn a lot, we all are young and have to

I let him know I know. His reaction was as expected.
Anyway, still wish to know if there's a way to trace an IP directly from youtube (without lawyers and stuff)

There is not, I asked my hacking guy. He said unless you were to hack the account, it would not be feasible to obtain that information. And hacking that account means hack the Google account, mind you. Recently changed the idea behind those accounts, 'improved' (changed) security issues.

d. Pornographic and criminal content.
Posting anything of a pornographic nature is not permitted on the SGW forums. Pornographic being defined as: Sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal (dictionary.com). The SGW forums are not the place for discussing or facilitating criminal activity. This includes arranging to carry out a crime or the posting of illegal images (including copyrighted property).
Consequence:
This will result in the issuing of warning points. Very serious comments will be given more warning points. This will be judged with input from the Forum Administrators and Moderators. In cases of criminal activity the Administrators will not hesitate to contact the authorities.
lets not discuss anything that is against the rules shall we?

P.S.
Neimenljivi, youtube should have a Report feature, which you could then use to report the post, and have them take action, as they have likely violated the terms of use. which would be the correct way to handle it easily.

Now that is sensible, psi. It can't be the first time some fellow has done such commentary.
