lmao no thanks and whats the point in playing a game if the admin wont look into a hack on my account. takes 5mins to do all he has to do is look at the IPs of the log in and run an IP check

Life > GW Even for admin. I don't see why everyone digs into him when he has to spend time working and looking after his family. If you caught him last night at the admin meet you could have gotten it sorted by now, so its your laziness.

What proof do you have that you were hacked. Dont tell me your person security would never fail you. It is more than likely you were the crack that allowed your login details to escape, thats even if anything did happen.

Also what proof do you have that you defenitely trained all the uu as miners and didnt make a mistake unknowingly, surely you're not that arrogant to rule that out?

Also the fact that u got the broker partner names mixed up (mistake) and you were playing whilst drunk (stupidity) makes it seem even more likely you were mistaken about what you did with your uu.

wasnt playing when i was drunk and i know i trained my units because i waited till i got them back and put the number into miners and clicked train and checked that they were trained oh and they were!!! the fact that i checked my account before i went out and had 500k UU out and i come home to an account missing 70mil yea it was my mistake pfft

My point is that you have shown evidence of making mistakes, i.e. Wrong broker partner, you have shown evidence of PMing people when drunk, therefore giving the assumption you are likely to continue playing when intoxicated.

You clearly state this happened by no fault of your own, yet you provide no evidence to suggest that your personal security on what ever IT devices you use hasnt failed you. You automatically and blindly blame the game for being hacked, and join the other pile of people that claim their account was hacked when you dont understand what the term hacked really insinuates.

Err you don't need one? You can just use the in browser IRC client that admin provides?

Sorry, but after this reading post numerous times I have to agree with Clarkey. The whole thing points towards a likely user mistake, can you be absolutely sure that you trained them?

The fact is that Gatewar's login is very secure, even if you can link a user with a password there is still the email to gain and vice versa. Such things are only available to the admins and extremely tough for others to find, unless you yourself gave something away.

If you have been hacked there is only your own security details, and habits, to blame. I fail to see how this is at any point the game's fault.

If you were serious about this apparent hacking why not email/contact an admin yourself personally, rather than posting publicly and opening yourself up to scrutiny.



I tend not to post outside the Newground's forums much, but some topics being posted around are bordering on annoying to me. Why don't people use more common sense and research before making silly assumptions, many of which do nothing but make themselves look silly.

your attitude is great tbh. Go quit, the game is probably better off without someone who seems to think that they were hacked because they won't admit their own possible mistakes

ok i kept my cool till now YES im sure i trained them as i said I HAD 500K UNTRAINED BEFORE I WENT OUT i come home and im missing 70mil UU with more than 1.5mil out i was gone for 6 hours..... do the math 500k out a UP of 200-250k come home 6hours laters and iv 1.5mil out....

now if your not part of the solution then piss off

Must say though, not sure if you expect anyone to give you a solution as there's nothing any of us can do but speculate. You are better off nagging the admins via email or Friday meetings as already said, most problems in here aren't checked regularly by those at top.

In the mean time, you can't expect anyone not to reply or comment about it on a public forum.

I'm his commander. I did notice this UU out. It was out for a few turns. So I sent a message. Then I believe I ascended so my message would have disappeared.

Then remembered this UU was out. Went back to check and it wasn't.

Cryx, I don't believe you were hacked, or it woulda been gone in the turn changes I seen it. I believe maybe you've made a very small mistake you've not noticed.

trust me i did train my units when i got them back that was on a wednesday it was 1 of the 1st things i did after i ascended then 2 days later before i go out iv 500k out when i come home iv 1.5mil out 6hours later and missing 70mil UU i think some one would of noticed i had 70mil UU out with in the 48hours after i ascended and me heading out

did you train them as miners ... or put them in a broker...
