Are Cov planets still the way to go though, with a few people starting to hit 39/40 and even 41 covert level, the planets impact would be minimal now, even if it was 1trill covert planet, or has there been a boost to the covert planets, ( keeping in mind ive been on vac mode since last August )

When 1m spies bring an obscene amount of covert power (as is the case with levels 39-40-etc) a covert planet is not worth it. :) You would have to upgrade planets to 10T to provide some measurable contribution..

cheap points but unless I remember incorrectly you get more app for naq than you do untrained mercs so completely pointless ;)

It's the pay off of an income planet that makes them useless but then at a certain point investing in Unit Production planets also becomes a waste of naq, the difference being some people (Me) are willing to waste that naq on Unit production because it does have a positive affect above raid cap and such when normal methods of gaining untrained units fall away. But farming won't be limited and as a result the whole exponential increasing price for planet upgrades on an income planet become useless.

The best solution would be to change the rate of increase of an income planet. If the naq required to get an income planet to say 500bil per day cost 14T it would take 4 weeks to pay off. Still not very worth it but it would make passive players more likely to invest in income planets.

At the end of the day it is going to be what you get your return on investment on. Attack and covert planets make the most sense because people can justify them directly helping in fighting wars as well as making farming easier.

Very much agree with Loki on that one. Especially during a war, one good way to make the enemy feel bad would be to take out the planet they invested so much on..

But gotta admit, income planets on your usual farms are a nice touch :P

What if the naq goes straight into your bank instead? That might make income planets worthwhile..

It would really just kill all activity in the game. You could just get 10 income planets build a 100t def and sit on it.
