Difference isn't always good. 250% is already bad enough.

Before, MSs were over powered during the server war, with such small stats. Now that the wars over, don't go overboard boosting their power. What happens if another war starts, then all of a sudden that 10T strike with 1.5T MS, become 10T strike, with ~5T MS. Going from adding 15%, to almost 50%

250% is as high as I'd like to see them go. They should compliment your strike/defense, not be your main source of power in any situation. If they go any higher, as others have said, it will be like back in the server war when people just rely on their MS to win battles.

Perhaps an added delimiter ?
Like with the whole naq planets thing, needing the miners to complement for the max added bonus.
Perhaps the same with MS's.
* Only able to add 50% of your raw strike power in a battle against ground forces.
* MS vs MS all out, no delimiter. What power remains after MS vs MS again submissive to add 50% max raw of the raw attack power conjured up by your attack troops.
I would say the same should go for defending.
This would prevent people only building up huge ms's, some attack planets, with only a few attack soldiers, leaving them with only few losses per battle compared to someone who has not.
...
Needs some fine tuning likely.

Would you peope like to tell me how the highest MS strikes that would be 6t-7t after tripling them would help with massing a 100t def? They'd only help with the really small stuff.

The only reason their so high, is because there is no longer a server-sized war, like I said in my post.
As I said, what if another breaks out, or if you are in a war, instead of the largest MSs adding 2-3T to a strike, they start adding 6-8T. It means that, instead of your 10T strike and 3T MS, being able to take out a 39T defense (with large losses, but do-able), now your 10T strike, combined with 9T MS, can mass a 57T defense.

Go to war for a month loki and keep the damage high, those 100T defs don't exist as often then. It's usually 20-30T defs to compensate for strike.
Where 20-30T defs are concerned, a 7T bonus is a big deal.

True enough daku. Lets start small with 250% and increase if it looks like nothing.

Go ahead and mass 57t def with 19t strike...

instead of a MS increase id prefer to see stats halved again. Doubling the stats made att & def planets and also MS's pretty useless

You miss the point Loki. I say that it is only possible, not that I do it for the fun of it.
How about this. Its the difference between a 13T defence being broken through, and a 19T defence being broken though. That 300% increase, becomes an additional 6T you can break, without building anything.

Indeed. Rather than constantly increasing stats arbitrarily, we should reduce stats to better balance. Lest we get the Ascended sized numbers on main.

The problem with that is that those who can afford to buy merlins would have a huge advantage.

increasing 250% may even be a bit high. We have just seen with the income planet update, that going too high in the first instance can piss people off. 250% then gradually increase until a suitable balance is found is better than 300% then bump down if it turns out to be too much.

Aye, reducing stats by half should be the way to go.

Nah I don't wanna go back to the days of attack/defense planets ruling the field either.
