Dont think I am defending my own nation, us Brits did some horrible things in our empire days, but the other nations of the day were just as bad and American independence was all about the money and had nothing to do with morality, also the only reason the Brits withdrew from the America's was to defend, consolidate, and even expend in other parts of the world which were at the time far more densely populated and far more profitable. Much as Americans like to think they beat the Brits the truth is the Brits could have won very easily but decided to focus their forces elsewhere in places more important to them at the time.

So now you are saying supplying weapons, food, and supplies, and even fighting a bit was nothing big? Tell that to paypal users when paypal goes down in middle of a vendetta...

What could be more important than securing the rebel forces? Its like if Vadar just broke off fighting the rebels because his Death Star had an airduct the size of a volkswagon for a space figher jet to fly through at 123K kilometers an hour...
