I just hope Arsenal find some other decent players to get the ball to him. Cos RVP ain't gonna give him the ball [-(

Arsenal is going to engage the new season supercharged with this team and new signings.
They should loan some players though (Bendtner, Vela, Chamakh, Arshavin...not saying defenders though) seven forwards maybe bit too much lol!

Nope I was counting subs too. :P

My comment was based on fact already last season some players complained about not being much used in PL, while few were loaned, and summer transfers didn't occur (transfers happened of course las season, but more to replace the departures of Fabregas, Nasri, Clichy,...than to add extra players in the team). So now there's even more "candidates" to be less than subs, due to excess amount of players. They would be helpful for the likes of FA Cup, Champions League...but I doubt in PL they will play more than 10min here & there.
Vela was on loan, Arshavin/Chamakh/Bendtner barely used.

I'm back again.

Who do people rate to be the surprise team this season of the new comers?

West Ham, Reading or Southampton?

Southampton, they have "hope" on their side. West Ham should do fine, I think they hold the quality to be in the premier league..but we'll see 8)

Got my first batch of tickets ready, first one against Reading, so i'll let you know :-D

Could this thread be sticked and the other unsticked as it's the former season thread?

Ricky Lambert is just a pure goalscorer too, the type that tends to do well whatever league he's in. Won't contribute anything to build up play but get him chances and he'll take them.

I had Rooney and RVP on my team, dropped RVP don't really see him playing first game. Brought in Torres as a replacement because he's third choice behind Sturridge and not having a striker and he's trying to fight his way back up the pecking order.

Aguero and Tevez look a potential partnership, Rodwell as a cheap City player

Thinking about replacing Arteta by Santi Cazorla...
My original pick was Giroud but I have the feeling Podolski will do better.
