You could find it, yes. You would be dead wrong, though. Fuelling misconceptions about NG seems to be a fun pastime. I wonder whether it was like that with Ascended when it was hinted at and all secret-y and stuff.

Good luck, ANG(27).

I'll stick with staying out of trouble. I'll aim for 37/35 before November.

How would I be wrong when it literally would be a word for word quote from Admin Jason?

Depends if, along with those stats, he said something like 'probably something like this', instead of 'this is what it will be'.

I don't see how either way I could be wrong at all, I'd just be quoting him. Whether or not it was his final decision doesn't change the fact it's what he said.

I thought Juliette was talking about how whatever stats you did have could be wrong (whether it was quoted from jason or not), hence why she went on talking about fueling misconceptions for NG.

Ya she was, but if Admin Jason said it I still don't see how I could be wrong. Unless he's not the one who makes decisions about Game Updates anymore... Even if what he said wasn't final at that point in time.

I assume you have something like cov 35-36?
You have three choices.
1. Leave while you can.
2. Buy your way.
3. start a NG account and hope you might end up better.
There is a secret 4th way, except it requires massive amounts of time, and it wont take the whole of your summer, just most of your time as a online game loving human being.
On the flip side if you choose none, anybody with two covert levels higher than you (a handful in every alliance), will take you for a joy ride in every war. You will end up sacrificing massive amounts of spies just to keep an attack and def safe, if you don't build the spies you will effectively have no defence during any given war and no attack over about 1 trill.
Although....there is another flip side (we are now in 3-dimensions), accounts are quite cheap now even though people paid big cookies to get them where they are, so number 2 is looking pretty good.
Don't oversell the costs of not having an awesome account, or of not using cash.
Just for starters, one does not need to have awesome covert levels to be good at the game,
to have fun in the game,
or to be useful to one's allies, or threatening to most of one's adversaries.
It helps, it helps a great deal.
However, it is not the be-all, end-all that a lot of people would like you to think it is.
As for having a handful of people in every alliance who have covert levels 37+?
yea, maybe... in the alliances that generally have been known to fight in public wars...
which is like 1.5 pages of the alliance rankings list.

I beg to differ good sir. I assume we are limiting 'the game' to just main? In which case you do need good covert levels to be good at the game. Or have a 500 odd mill UU spare to kill. And a fair bit of naq.

Well, first, it depends on who one aims to beat, and who one's military allies are...
like you said yourself, the major war-ready alliances have a few people with said covert to cover everyone else's tushes.
Second, why limit it to Main?
Descension puts such nice big holes in covert power... and most other good stats.

Not hard to achieve in that time frame.
It is for me - can't use the computer, I farm from an iPod most of the time.

The major war ready alliances are really the only ones that exist and have members that log in at least once every few days

.
We don't have to limit it to main, but of course, descension can cripple an account if he takes up the time to farm dmu to build a decent TOC to take on any of the half active players now, although actually descending someone is a bit of luck now
