I thought the farming was fine today, but I farmed like 7-8 TCs at most. Around 7.30am to 12 am and 3-4 pm EST

I noticed some 2 TCs where 75% of the farms were cleared out in seconds, but besides that, it was fine.

can admin not just put a system in place where if a script is detected running from an account, that IP address is instantly banned through an automated program? :?

not really since how will you detect it, and even if its detectable, It will have to calculate every single attack, or account.

Can't you input a script in the game which detects the intervals during which different targets get hit? Even the best farmer/raider who is human takes minimal a certain amount of time which an script (which isn't bound to the speed with which hands move and keyboards which need to react) has not, and thus hits faster. Also, the time an human takes to hit varies (due to getting slight tiredness in the hands etc already) which a script has not.
Of course, you can put it in an 'random interval' in a script, but that would in the end beat the purpose of the script.

Reactions, other input?

The time a script takes to hit also varies, depending on availability of naq on the battlefield and game speed.

As for them being faster - that's not quite always so :) Besides, regardless of how fast they might be, I'm guessing they are also subject to the 'no more than 6 attacks in 2 seconds' rule, and I know it slowed me down on many occasions. They don't need to be extraordinarily fast, they have all the time in the world.

Not to mention a truly well-written script counters 'detection' from predictable behaviour.. anything less advanced is not worth your money.

Haha, yes. That 6 attacks thing is a pain when you find a good raid target. ;) Or when you try massing someone. :|

it should not be a problem, cos it is 6 attacks on 6 diff accounts, and that should be doable i assume., or em i missing something ?

:-k Good question, but I believe it is 6 on 'any' as opposed to 6 on 1. :)

Hmm.. so we make that into 6, and the script will skip around 60% of the farms they hit now. xD

It's 6 on any - I've had it enough times to know :-)

Kicking this alive, since at the last turn change I noted that at least crmrchnt, ID 40862, either got hit immidiately upon turn change (I refreshed my wardecced list each 2-3 seconds upon the turn change) since I refreshed my page and he still was at 0 naq despite all the others in my list at the page I was looking at having gone up in amount of naq out, or is an offending party. Can admin have a look?
