First member of staff I talked to properly and he helped me to get to know the forum both as a user and as a mod. He served for a long time and was a good admin, thrown aside because he wasnt progressive.
He was a delightful poster and member of the community and provided a dynamic that nobody else could. He role-played for almost his entire duration on the forums. A feat matched only by the various men role-playing as women here.

Dont be mean to my zera!

actually Jim, he is better than the ppl impersonating females. He never did it to scam, hurt manipulate or any other lesser reason.

not going to get into the background forum politics, he and his spam is missed.

For some reason, everyone just forgot how great Z is. (He's presumably still alive, so I use present)
But then I guess it's true, "A thousand good deeds done and still you can do better, one single mistake and everyone is bitter."

Dude you really need to do some reading.

Might I recommend "None Dare Call It Treason"? If only for a laugh about blind paranoia in the sixties. Reading is such a pleasure, do you not agree, Loki. :)

Wouldn't that be something. Btw all the evidence and proof at what Z did, got 3 of us deleted. So yea. Its that bad if you have to have Admin J delete users to cover your ass.

With the way Zeratul is more than a billion entities, it wouldn't surprise me if he-.. eh, they, were also me.. or you, or all of us. Damn, that's a fearful thought.

On serious terms though, who can tell me exactly what he did and how that got 3 people deleted?

No. Figure it out for yourself. I'm guessing you failed to read the part where he deleted the three users for posting what he did.

Ah well. Lots to read around here, Gaius. You will figure it out. ;)

He was insinuating that posting what Z did got AdminJ to delete 3 users

If I read his intent into what he wrote, I get that too. It is not what the text says, though. Since your namesake was not mentioned, the 'he' refers twice to the same person, Zeratul. :-D

Creative reading, as well. *giggles* My artistic humours are boiling. :o

Speaking of Giggles. Where is that dude? :?

This isn't law class, intent over text speech is a healthier approach.

He's an okay guy (I guess? Never spoke to him on a personal level) I good role-player. But a terrible, terrible admin.

Leeeet's keep it on topic, yeah.

I don't know what to read or where to find it. Might I have links, anyone?
I wasn't around for a while, so I obviously don't know what happened, where, how, or why the hell everyone thinks Zeratul was a horrible admin.

Try doing the job yourself. I was in such a position once. It's not pretty, at all. I had to quit a month into the job from too much stress.

4 Admins resigned because of him. Enough said.
