Reset the bloody game !

4 + years...

After "upgrading" to Skype I was ready to quit. While I could still talk to individual players, there were no more group convo's due to everyone else still having MSN. I hated TAF group convo's...until I was no longer a part of them. Now that TAF group convo's are a thing again, I'm reinvigorated and loving the game.

jason should really think to make a gatewars FB game with soem grafics and not a fast game like this....many ar emaking lot of cash with those games

There are some good money maker tap gamestoo for smart phones and touch pads. This game has run its course for sure, I cant see myself ever regularly playing it again.

you can quit game, but you cannot quit TAF

As someone mentioned earlier, with the other new SG game you MIGHT get a few newbies (when I say a few, I mean two, three max), but I doubt it will be anything significant as, well, ya know it's an SG game and all.... with graphics... and not a bias towards $$ players.... not sure why someone would think "Ah! Let's downgrade!" but there are crazy people out there! If the game is a resounding success you might get more.

Ultimately I can actually see the game limping on for another year easily, maybe even two. I seriously doubt it will last much longer then that, i'd certainly be surprised if it makes 3 more years, but I wouldn't say never as the community here is very loyal.

It will continue to decline and then it will stop making money and J will vanish with the game overnight, off to make a Marvel or Star Wars based game.

I do wonder what will happen to TÅF when SGW finally goes away... I would not miss gatewars, I would miss my gatewars family. I assume we would have to find a new strategic team-based game to play, but not sure what could replace this one we have all grown to love.

I reckon a lot of us, particularly myself, are in a similar situation. I love the community, especially those closest to me on here, and i'd definitely start playing again if we had something decent to enjoy together again. With someone who gave two craps about us
You'd think with so many of us agreeing that this game needs to change, we could do something about it, but such is life i guess

Each of us has a lot of time/money/effort put into our accounts here. We don't want to just leave and see it go to waste. Also for all of it's sins, there is a lot of good things about this game, and at it's best points it's hugely enjoyable and challenging to play. It wouldn't have survived for so long otherwise.
