He was easily the greatest person I've met on here. Rest in peace Mezz, love you.

Saw about this on fb and just in shock. Mezz was an amazing guy, had so much fun in FS with him,

I hope he rests in peace. And Brothers if you see this sorry we havnt kept in touch, Ill try to get on msn a bit more so give me a shout if you ever need to chat.

Was such a nice guy. Met him in my time with FS and he was one guy who gave me a big chance when a lot of others wouldn't. Outlines for me the type of person he was, i'm sure he was a lovely guy in real life also.

Thoughts are with his friends and family, such a young age too.

It feels like just the other day I was having many a diplomatic discussion involving Mezz, he was always fair, but firm. Got it right on that line and he prevented several wars in tough situations. Of course he could be one of the front line fighters at all times too and wasn't afraid to do so. A true stand up guy by all accounts.

This is a major loss and I am sorry for everyone that new him.

I didn't know Mezz nearly as well as I would've liked, but witnessing his actions in the game and here on the forums gave me a level of respect for him that few players have acquired.

I think I'm a little more upset than I ought to be...

I've been coming back to this thread a few times today but I can't think of what to say. I don't think I can do him justice.

I barely even really met Mezz before he left the game but his reputation was legendary. His actions as a Leader, a Diplomat, and a fighter shaped the way this game is played. I'm sure he will be sorely missed by his former alliance mates, friends and enemies alike.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Another soul lost way too soon. I can't imagine your loss.

Thank you everyone for your kind words of love and support for a truly brilliant man. Brothers will be showing this thread in honour of Mezz to his family. We are all of course in shock and hurting at this loss, it was just last week that he was planning to visit Drah and I.

Again, thank you, your wishes do you credit and honour his memory.
