My favorite memory or rather memories in this game are of meeting good people, getting to know them, becoming friends with some.
I thank SGW for that and that was always my main reason playing it

Agreed - and for me, you are one the best and most truthful player I've met. Truly an honor.
Some of the good memories I have is the opening battle between DDE and TL few years ago. Me and Field Marshal went all out in the initial strike and hit each other off page one many times in a row.
One of my favorite memories is my time in TL, I truly miss those game-days.

One time especially, I think it was in '07 or '08, was fun when we were battling Empire of Briton and they were, despite their name, a world-wide alliance with a few really, really big accounts out there. They had the first strike and we usually couldn't get back at them by massing their biggest account as they were online throughout the times we were online and they were expecting it, so they called the guy every time we'd try something. We got up at 5 am, which was 4 am for most of EoB's members, I built a huge strike (think it was #1 just before I started massing) and massed the guy. Then we all went back to beds

We had special achievement badges in SU for wars, special events, competitions, notable sacrifices and notable destructions of enemy forces, as well as a ranking system, and a few of us got the 'one-time only' early-morning coordinated mass badge.
Then there was this time with The Pirate's Panties where we'd just mass anyone who opposed us and took on DDE and OE. I think it was 9 of us and they couldn't do anything while we'd just mass them every time they had something

Can't remember who we went to war with first, DDE or OE.. But each time we were outnumbered about 10 to 1. They were the ones who wanted to end the war and kept coming to us with proposals about NAP agreements

Do you know that the original members of TL, the ones who took on COP, were all Slovenians?
No?
Now you do.
At our biggest point we had around 40 members, possibly even more. You had what, 15, 20? Not to mention the fact we carried on being a single-nation empire for years, before we decided to end it. I mean, have you even read I wrote the biggest?

Do you know that 40 > 15?
No?

Don't think that the world revolves around TL just because you had one big war all those years ago.

Also interesting.. the only truly banned IP range is Slovenian. Hacking and botnets..

If it had been banned, how come we are able to visit the game? I know J was considering it, as there were a few scammers and big multies (don't recall any big hackers, though, at least not from Slovenia), but then decided against it.
Was funny, though, how we were accused of multying all the time

Although a bunch of people saw we were who we said we are at meetings

Was a funny coincidence, me and my bro having the same names IRL as 2 other players back then from SU. The guy who had the same name as my bro was actually the same age as well and, even more coincidentally, they are classmates at the same uni now. The last time they saw each-other, before uni, was about 2 years before and, as my bro quit around then, they haven't had much contact before recognizing each other again.

I hate to do it Nem...but I was the man in charge in DDE during the pirate wars and I/ we never came to anyone wanting a nap to end it. PP began to fade after I jacked c2's 100 tril def...I am sure it wasnt just because of that, but thats the way it went down.

There is still a range of IPs blocked, and all of them are Slovenian. (There are more banned IP-ranges, but the Slovenian is the most extensive.)
No one said ALL Slovenian IP's are banned.

Just a lot, specifically the ones used by certain parties.

Good times.
LMAO pig newton now thats an old name, a war ethic that would rival that of FM and JT (combined lol). He was always pushing the boundaries and wanting war lol.

You're correct, you didn't come to us. But there were several members of DDE who did come to us and wanted it to end. I was speaking more of OE in this, as their leadership kept coming to us. You were mostly all good sports
TC? The Collective? I think so, although I am not entirely sure. It rings a bell but not enough for me to be positive about it. If there's a war thread somewhere on these forums - I'll check it and see whether or not my memory serves me right

Don't have time right now to search for it, though.

Just did a quick check. Yes we were in a war together, but we were on the same side. It was against FUALL. So nope, you are wrong
Also I am not saying we built huge defences every war. But we massed all huge defences that were built in hopes we wouldn't take it down. We mostly built defences, but it also depended on how big of a sport our opponents were.

I just posted some trivia, don't really get what you are getting upset about.
Another trivia time:
Before TL there was Slovenian Force and DBD which both were entirely Slovenian and had wars with Omega and the like.
Also TL and in general TLE had many wars
P.S. - having Slovenian exclusive alliance was never our goal or wish, playing with and as friends however was and that is probably the reason why at the start we were only of one nationality.
That aside, it is the character which makes the person, not the "flag" in his passport
P.P.S. please don't get upset again
