I commented on Ghostygoo's wall on facebook about a week ago. It seems he's doing well.

Now, as to "do I remember them" that's like asking me if I remember what the Replicator's were called before the game was launched(Tok'ra btw).

I never got confirmation when I mentioned it in another thread, but am I wrong in remembering that there was some way to see which race was the most dominant in the game before ascension came along?

I think there was, and it was around for a while after that too, I believe it counted the ascended versions of the base races as their races for the purposes of the calculations. But that's so long ago....

Just what I personally remember seeing. I wasn't really around till mid-late 06 at the earliest.

Oh when the System Lords arrived, we made sure to keep the Goa'uld atop the power charts

If memory serves, Asgard and Goa'uld were the most common at the top of the leaderboard. Tauri always had the most numbers, but it was a tough road to go because your defense was so underpowered comparatively.

I remember Goo very well (and Sleipnir for that matter). When TA fought the Order of Chaos for the second time (my first sgw war), they were the leaders. Those were interesting days...

We only had five mods at that time for the entire forum, Goo, JGG, Sleipnir, Psi and I forget who else...was it ETL already?
