Well its all clear now "PPTS drop when you enter the Arena" and if you have an existing PPT it gets removed at the next tc if you enter an Arena.

Simples ........

No, you will drop off ppt the moment you sign-up. If you claim the ppt after you've signed up it will be removed following the next TC.
It's in the rules/guidelines of the arenas. Although not fully stipulating the fact that it's always checked and removed following the the sign up, it's obvious.

So just because we sign up for the tourney we loose ppt. Sorry but that is bull if we where informed i would not have signed up yet.

Being a holiday ppt it should be excluded from this rule and by all means kill ppt when entering the arena but not when signing up. Its the holidays.

SoL - if it's obvious how come multiple players were unaware of it, and thus have lost out on the holiday PPT given to them?

I for one had absolutely no idea a sign-up would remove a PPT. It's illogical ... why should signing up for an arena that happens in a few days remove the PPT you have immediately? In DI's case there were over 3 days remaining before the arena, he used to PPT to cover and protect his account in those few days whilst he will be away during holiday period, which was the point of giving that PPT in the first place.

I agree no PPT should be carried into an arena, but what is the harm in having one before you physically enter during the sign-up stages?

The rules/gameplay/guidelines/QnA for this round are simple:

Main Points:
1. When you click on sign up, you will enter a lobby, in this place players can request to join a unit, create a unit, or wait for a request from a unit leader.
2. 6 hours before the tournament starts, all requests are automatically rejected and everything bar changing your leader and changing your abilities are disabled.
Those that have not managed to merge with a unit will be paired up with the others in the same scenario and a unit will be created for them. If there is only 1 player
left not in a unit (units generated from the people in the lobby are filled to the maximum first before another unit is made), then they are removed from the tournament.
3. All other rules are similar to the singular deathmatch, you will be removed from the realm by the tournament overlord the instant an arena player guts your defence to
under 15,000,000 AND planets in defence to under 1,000,000.
4. A unit is destroyed when all players in the unit have been killed, everytime a member in your unit is slaughtered you are given the option to change abilities, when your leader
is slaughtered a member is automatically made the leader.
5. The winning team is the last unit to remain standing.
6. Leaders can switch places with a member at anytime during the tournament, leaders have the power to control their unit. Leaders of the unit ARE THE ONLY people that can
shift their whole unit into the tournament early (before everyone is forced in).
8. When a player slaughters another and ends up doing the most planetary damage (in which they are entitled to gain the planets from the kill), each unit member will gain a share
of the planets. 9. There is a dead man switch for units, if the leader does not log in every 24 hours after everyone is forced to enter the tournament, the member that logged in
last is made leader.
10. You will loose all ppt as you signup.

My advice take your time signing up and read what it says. The F&Q's r there to help you.

Can make long winded posts all you want but its there to be read, if u choose not too no need to then say well it should be there , because it is there.

I think those complaining about the loss of their PPT should have RTFM .....

That rule should not be there the ppt should only end once we enter the arena. 72hour ppt is then a sham and not worth the server its posted on. your free 72 hour holiday PPT. Offer expires January 31st GMT. False advertising.

The expiration date means that the ppt button, should you have not used it, will dissapear end of januari. So, thats not false advertising ...

the RTFM thing I mentioned .. generally means : read the **Filtered** manual.

Butthurt so your aware that your a pain in the a5s and knuckles deep in Sol's

It is false advertising we should be aloud to use it with out it dropping an hour later ppt that is set for 72 hour should be 72 hour the only acception should be when entering the arena not signing up for one

You could always send in a suggestion, bloodkiller

And thats not the only exception, you can also willingly end the ppt when you want to attack/recon/etc someone in the universe.

Sol, could you add a tick box next to the sign up button, which should appear if a player is on PPT, stating, "THIS WILL END YOUR PPT, TICK TO AGREE"

With all the silly texts all over ascended that should be one of the least odd ones I supose I you could try and put unicorns in there too.

many players do have the say in this as a 72hrs ppt were givin excluding the fact if a tournament is on and is only fair too those who only used it recently too continue their holiday ppt when they were killed or won the tourny. so sol is to be informed and asked if that is possible for those whos on ppt atm too take a screenshot or inform sol of the time remaining on the ppt too continue the ppt after TDM

That would be a start but still does not rectify the situation for players that have already claimed there ppt after signing up. A checkbox could also be added to say if on ppt you acknowledge by signing up for the tournament / arena you ppt will be ended. I still have my ppt by the way but everyone that is signed up that wanted to use there ppt over the 30th 31st and 1st can nolonger use itfor those days.
