Ok the page comes up saying you have been recruited........but now the left hand panel is GONE!!!!

correct.... that was the drastic step.....
but works, yes?
really it's meant for 'external' people to click on.... not really meant for players in the middle of playing to click.... (except your own link) ... so that should not really be a big downside... and if you click 'join the war' it all comes up properly
so - fixed?
