i think that the mercs need to cost more, they as effective as a regular trained attacker, but a single attacker costs one uu plus 2k(at market rate thats 250mil/1000 + 2000= 252,000thou)
a merc costs 1800
thats a huge diff, im all for a bigger market but i think to be fair they should cost alot more than they do at the moment

yea a merc has the power of just a regular trained unit, not super trained

thats why i think they should be worth more than 1800. im thinking 250k is proper

i have just read what you guys have to say and well i do agree with what you are saying about that merc market needs to be better. but there are different ways. how about this way and hear me out. everybody gets a set amount of mercs they can buy per day. so if somebody wants more mercs they would have to buy more levels of that set amount. so it would be....
1st level - 10 attack 10 defence and 10 untrained. - 30 per day
2nd level - 20 attack 20 defence and 20 untrained. - 60 per day
etc. but the same amount of attack defence and untrained never random.
or random like
1st level - 4 attack 11 defence and 15 untrained - 30 per day
2nd level - 14 attack 28 defence and 18 untrained - 60 per day
or you could do
1st level - 3 attack 4 defence and 3 untrained - 10 per day
2nd level - 8 attack 3 defence and 9 untrained - 20 per day
etc.
and make the levels infinite but increase price everytime the merc level is purchased for that player, but if you have mercs to buy you have to buy them on the day because you wouldnt get more mercs if you kept them waiting. i mean if you have 30 mercs on level 1 ready to buy, but you didnt buy them on the day you purchsed level 1. you get them tomorrow but you dont gain any new mercs for tomorrow. so when you think you have got 60 mercs from level 1 you still only got 30 mercs from the day before because you didnt purchase them from that day. so it wouldnt build up.
for the lower levels it would be cheap but when buying higher levels it would have to be far more expensive.
i would like to know what you think about my idea people if you didnt understand please tell and i will explain it again a bit more clearly.

It needs to be changed... its way too small amound of merc for that many players main has.... I think it have to be at least 50k mercs/turn
the other thing: yes they worth like 1 trained (not supertrained) but cant supertrined so 250k is far more.... i think 10k maybe for maximum because they can supertrained and u loose a bunch of them every attack
