Actually - since this is the official link from the Common Suggestions thread, your comment is not appropriate.

Thankyou.

In response to eleven - the idea that a charge would be made for cancelling naq trades was to ensure that the trade broker could not be abused as a naq bank. 25% was just an arbitrary figure I plucked from teh air - but as Wintermute pointed out - 25% would make it so it is cheaper to store naq in weapons - any lower and the trade bank thing could be abused.

schuesseled - part of this idea was to make it so that people do not set up trades willy-nilly. I don't know about anyone else - but it damn well annoys me when I login to find that some random noob has set up a trade with me that I don't want - if people do that and then lose out because of it, then it is there own fault - sorry. You should make sure that when you set up a trade that the person on the other end will enact their half of it.

However - has all this not been overtaken by events - as I notice that there is now an 'expires on....' message that appears when you set up a trade?

Maybe there should be some kind of check box that says (Click here if you wish to have the ability to cancel this trade) and in doing so you would gain the ability to cancel the trade but the amount of time allowed until the trade "expires" would be dramatically decreased and it could only be done a couple of times each week.

Another option would be to just have the ability to decrease the time till a trade ends to an hour or so would give people the option of trading to someone who may or may not be online and still get there resources back in a timely fashion.
