Please keep spam in the Spam forum or the chat room, including triple posting.
It becomes difficult when people need help, frequent the Newbie/Faq forum, and have to wade through copious amount of material that doesn't really matter to the topic at hand.
At the same time it changes the perception and effectiveness(indirect) of the search function. When people search for a topic and see large amount of spam they might feel like the information they seek isn't there, when it could be very well be there but hidden behind large amount of nonsensical posts. It reduces the efficiency/effectiveness of searching for a topic because it becomes more difficult to refer back to post for questions that have been asked prior and finding information, and therefore will require retyping a response, or requires someone seeking help, reposting a common question.
Not to mention that when spam is taken outside the temple, it increases the amount of posts a mod has to read during their modship duties in their respective areas.
All this being said...no response is needed on your part. Let's have silence on this thread mean there is an understanding of sorts...as even my post can be considered spam.
