Perhaps planets which give you income bonuses should increase your income by a certain percentage, small planet by 5% normal planet by 10% etc etc... I dont really know by how much percent but you get the idea :-D

Im saying having planets give marginal increases to Def, income, attack do not make them cost effective for the big guys so the little guys should be happy.

A % base may give the little guys a smaller increase and will definetly give the big ones a huge one.

Personally I would like the % being a middle level player. But, to be fair maybe forum did the small increases intentionally.

Planets are more a status thing then actual useful right now.

says the type right after the naq,
all planets give u 100 UP + 8K income turns + bonus

but i must say the bonus of my income planet is ridiculous

LIX 004 + 1,136,640 Daily Income 1(Def: 3,000,000) normal

well 1 miner give me 80 naq pert turns so 3840 naq per day, my entire planet produce the resource than 236 miners. insn't right.

LIX 00x + 30Unit Production 0(Def: 0) above average
since 1 lifer = 180k naql in the ingame market and 1 uu usualy worth 2 lifers, the UU Planet gives 30X 180k X 2 = 10,8 mill, almost 10 times better than the income one!

I must say that I personally agree that the income bonus can be approximated as being completely useless. Even in the olden says when making 10,000,000 Naquadah in one night was enough to panic (I did say "olden days", not "stone age days"), this bonus would on the borderline of "acceptable".

In the stone age days, however, you would have found yourself an amazing bonus to take pride in.

I think it should give naq or a %, whichever is higher. perhaps the most you can upgrade a planet is by 1% or 10 mil naq / size category. This is about the same as ascending one more time, and unlike with ascension, it can be easily lost.

Also I really hope rank modifier is coming into play with these planets. Maybe even make it so nobody with a higher rank can steal your planet.

No percentages. It was the admin's intent not to have percentages. I would just hope that the income bonus was meant to improve turn income and not daily income.

Percentages would not be logical in this case, as a planet does not depend on another's productivity for its own, unless it is financed by that planet, in which case it can use the financing to improve its resource generation capacity. This is also an update that is meant to give everyone a fair chance at improvement. It gives the newer players a chance without being a penalty for those that have tried hard to get to where they are now.

Income should be per turn not per day

Seems to me that the 'bonuses' generated by the different planet types are all massively underpowered - toys for the rich and powerful!

sounds about right...most updates r tho...then more people get them....bear in mind if u have 10 planets all giving the same bonuses or more...then ure gonna b getin an extra 600 mill a day....i think it has bin balanced as such...so u get small bonuses thata add up to bigger ones.... :D

That's the beauty of the AK-47. Once you've fired one off a couple of tmes, you're basically an expert. And, in numbers, you're pretty deadly too.
