we need simple bonuses first, and then maybe later we could expand upon them...

first, don't go trying to change pre-existing bonuses so you can modify the new bonuses.

second, what i suggested, forum has already said is possible.(long time ago, and may be less possible now...)

third, though i know little of sg-1 itself, i know that we are not bound to the story, we can have some differances!!

thank you

I see your point so i withdraw my above suggestions :-D

As for the wraith an attack/ defence bonuse geared more towords attack and also that normal wraith soilders should take the same number of casulties as other races super soilders in battle.

As for an amoury this is all the wraith tech i could think of
Wraith rifle, wraith dart, Wraith cocoons, culling beam, astoriod harvestor, wraith illusions, wraith armour, wraith drone, wraith scencers and wraith plasma cannon.

For sige i got wraith Hive ship and another possible one could be wraith fleet,. For fortications wraith lab, wraith hive, wraith world and wraith world with space gate.

I like the name suggestions. But I think the best bonus is a modefied raid. In order to do this, we would have to give them a decrease on attack, and perhaps defense as well to make it fair. The Tauri already have the attack bonus, wraith use the culling beams to "kidnap" peeps (raid) they eat other beings for food (the ability to trade all stolen units for naquadah)

Another thing I was thinking about this recently: This would be the easiest race for beginners. If played right, you could crawl your way out of the unranked land in days from your first day on the game! So should we limit the bonus until the hive "awakens" (reaches a higher rank) or should we leave this as another advantage for Wraith?

We could limit a player to ten ranks below him, and all ranks above him. These would be the only raidable players. When you got into the Top ten, it would have to be changed to 20 below I am thinking.

K I have to admit that this is an idea the reason the word raid did not leave my mouth would be because of the fact that people don't seem to like that kind of idea it makes sense though.

As for the fine details if it was gone be introduced this way I would say that the wraith should only have a reduction on one stats other wise it would not be to much of a disadvantage as for the when it comes on u could make it that they have to get to a certain level of something like siege fortification or even spy level.

For the people u raid u could limit the number of types of unit able to be taken only military say. As this would mean that the majority of a persons army would be untouchable or make it a limit on the size of the army u could raid compared to your army size. Or the rank thing but u would have to be able to attack down rank by a bit other wise no one would play as them.

hmm thats true... mabey combined with a small attack & defence (dunno 5-10%)
i'm not talking about a really major cut back (fine when your in the 1000's of weapons it'll make a notable difference... but just say a 2-5% discount would be a good race advantage to have if your are continually going th be getting attacked / attacking others

Yeah small enough that it does not need another stat to be put down to make it fair to tauri and asgaurd who have a 25% BOnuse but a disadvantage on the other stat.

Here, this might help out a bit, races I think should be in the game:

Aschen
Seemingly benevolent species that, by the Earth year 2010, helped humanity create a Golden Age through advanced technology. In reality, they plotted to wipe out the human race through a process of sterilization and slow attrition. Entrenched in Earth society and holding key positions of power, the Aschen's scheme was circumvented by an SG-1 time-travel expedition to 10 years earlier. First contact: "2010"

Asgard
Earth's closest offworld allies. Native the planet Cimmeria, these benevolent, wizened-looking "gray aliens" prefer to appear as hologrammatic images of legendary Norse gods. The Asgardian Supreme Commander is Thor. First contact: "Thor's Hammer"

Bedrosians
One of two cultures on the planet Bedrosia, this species has long been at war with their rivals, the Optricians regarding control of their planet's Stargate. The Bedrosians believe human life evolved without a gateway and was created by their god, Nefertum. First contact: "New Ground"

Goa'uld
A despotic conquering race, and SG-1's greatest nemesis. Parasitic, snakelike creatures who rule the planet Chulak, the Goa'uld s ruthlessly collect lifeforms from around the galaxy for use as host bodies. They are politically organized around a structure of feudal "system lords." (First contacts: the movie Stargate and "Children of the Gods") A Goa'uld rebel group, the Tok'ra, inhabits only willing hosts. (First contact: "In the Line of Duty") SG-1 team-member Teal'c was once a member of the notorious "Serpent Guards" of the Goa'uld system lord Apophis.

Hebridan
A human race of the planet Hebridan, descendants of the Celtic islanders of New Hebrides who emigrated through the Stargate. Their planet eventually became a Goa'uld outpost, but was liberated thousands of years ago with the help of the Serrakin, with whom they now share the planet. First contact: "Forsaken"

Jaffa
The Jaffa race has a symbiotic relationship with the Goa'uld in that they carry infant Goa'uld symbiotes in pouches in their bellies. This larval symbiote guarantees its host immunity to diseases. For this reason, Jaffa live to be very old. SG-1 team-member Teal'c was once a member of the notorious "Serpent Guards" of the Goa'uld system lord Apophis. First contacts: the movie Stargate and "Children of the Gods"

Kelownans
Natives of the nation Kelowna on the planet desginated P9Y-4C3. The planet is also home to the nation of Tirania and to the Andari Federation. Jonas Quinn, formerly of the SG-1 team, is a native Kelownan. First contact: "Meridian"

Optricians
One of two cultures on the planet Bedrosia, this species has long been at war with their rivals, the Bedrosians, regarding control of their planet's Stargate. The Optricians believe humans were not native to their planet, but brought by aliens through the gateway. First contact: "New Ground"

Reetou
No longer living on their homeworld Reetalia, which was destroyed by the Goa'uld, the Reetou are able to render themselves invisible. A large rebel faction believes that by killing all potential hosts for the Goa'uld they gradually will eliminate the Goa'uld themselves. First contact: "Show and Tell"

Replicators
Artificial organisms in the form of small metallic bugs, they kill and rapidly replicate, overwhelming planetary life and mechanisms. First contact: "Nemesis"

Serrakin
One of two groups now found on the planet Hebridan, the reptilian Serrakin helped to liberate the native humans from the Goa'uld thousands of years before. First contact: "Forsaken"

Tollans(Survivors or Quantum)
Technologically advanced natives of Tollana. The late Omoc, their leader at the time of Earth's first conract with their civilization, revealed his people's collective guilt over having shared Tollan technology with a less-advanced planet, resulting in that world's self-destruction by war. First contact: "Enigma"

Unas (Possibly as a troop upgrade for the Goa'uld or maybe a Kull Warrior)
Native to planet P3X-888, these large, primitive, reptilian humanoids — once used as Goa'uld beasts of burden — possess only rudimentary language. First contact: "The First Ones"

I don't think including the Wraith or the Ancients in the regular game would be very fun.
I think they would be better served to be in the Quantum game and if we put them in we could put in the Nox then.
Why not?
The Nox, or any of the other races, could be the biggest evil in the galaxy in a quantum reality for all we know.

K i understand not including the acients but why not the wraith as long as the game is kept in balance i don't understand the problem.

Well, the Wraith have no inter-galactic drives in their ships and they never found out about Earth until recently.
But I guess it could be set up so that they followed the expedition team back or something, but then a whole different can of worms is opened.
Like Atlantis, did the Wraith get it?
Did we bring it back with us?
Did it get destroyed and if so, did we bring back new technology with us.
You know stuff like puddle jumpers and such.
Just food for thought.

k but i would just say that we don't have to follow the guidlines of the show exactly do we. Also if the wraiths survival depended on it they might build some ships that can intreglatic travle in oder to get to a new food source.
