I don't think that this is a good idea, to stop attacks for 5 days before a vacation is ridiculous. Even if i planned a holiday, 5 days without attacking before i leave is silly. It only favours those who don't attack. A few people abus vacation mode and the rest of us hav to suffer. I really think it should be changed.

I only went one vac mode once... but I can say, it was useful.

My parents told me I was going camping for a week right... the day before we go... (they claim they told me but it's all LIES! lies I say!)... >_<...

my point is, it unfair for people who ACTUALLY have vacation. Also, the rule 5 days afterwards is okay with me.

i am booked to go in hospital for a operation on the 9th of next month it should only be for a day but you never know i might be there for the nite.
My point being i was going to go on vacation mode for 2 days over the period of time.
So for when i get out i can come home and sit on my pc playing this game for the next 3 months (no work ).
i dont want to put it on 5 days and get home the same day of my operation and have to wait 4 days b4 i can play it put it back to 2 days please.

did this get implemented at the same time omega cryed cheat about planets ?

just wondering if this was as a result of the person/persons who where acussed of cheating went onto vac mode and the vac mode and planets where alterd cause of this.

if so as the so called cheats where not cheats as it seems shouldnt the planet and vac modes be put back too how they was ?

no this has become quite a common tactic used in recent wars and had to be stoped. however as said in earlier posts i think it should b after the vac mode

i was asking if this has been placed now !
so that omega can retaliate agiasnt those who attacked them

it would seem a logical conclusion too me

they lose trillions in defences and want revenge
if the players who attacked them have or wanted too go onto vac mode
which would be normal after attacking the strongest group in the game
removing the vac mode now would enable omega too retaliate

either way just wondering

I completely disagree with this *NEW* UPDATE.

I'm a family man with kids and never know what is going to happen. So should my little girl become ill/ or I have to go away for a while with work/ or my comp is broken my account will be a free for all.
The arguement that you shouldn't attack for 5 days before going into VAC mode makes the game impotent.
Only very powerful players or alliances will welcome this change as it benefits them and not the small to medium players in the game. I can see this being used in the future to *BIG* players and alliances benefit.

Since joining this game about 1 year ago I have watched certain updates benefiting only certain individuals.

If the rules are continuously being changed it's made the game biased against those trying to gain power.

Those in power will remain so and those struggeling will remain in the same position unless they sell their souls and beg to join their agressors.

Admin I ask is this fair.

Is this the way to attract new players to the game?
How many big players and not so big players have left the game recently
How many truly active players are left.
Are these Updated going to only leave 1 alliance in power and simply kill the game.
It would be a waste to see the community fall, but it's happening, the cracks are visible, my question is can they befixed?

I think we should ban attacking, nothing good can come of it, oh and ban sabbing too. That would make the game a whole lot better.......

I understand where you are comming from. I have never used the VAC mod but the fact that it's there is what counts. If players use the VAC as a tactic they do so because the big boys have an unfair influence over the game.

If anything this will encourage cheating. Why risk your main account when a drone will do.

It's sad to see things going so extreme after the Omega 'affair'. I agree 24 hr period of no attacking before going on vac mode is decent enough.
However this change shouldn't happen right now. We've already had one large update, and another like this one will annoy people further.

At the moment everyone is thinking of a guy massing someone and then hiding on vac. But imagine the poor guy being massed, he doesn't have the naq or MTs to use PPT to protect himself, so he decides to save the last of his forces by going on vacation. But because he attacked someone four days before, he can't. Thus his whole account is reduced to dust in front of his eyes.

I agree with others to change it so you can't attack for a certain period after your vacation, not before.

Its actually not in place yet.

I was able to go on Vacation, and I had been attacking like crazy.

Or does this mean I have exploited a bug??

5 days does seem excessive, esepcially when - as pointed out - people may have to go at short notice.

There is also a major flaw in that why should this be only for vacation Mode, and not also for PPT?

Even if it was reduced to 2 days - the player could just go into PPT for a couple of days and then switch to vacation.

Don't particularly like it - but don't see any other solution either.

You will never stop people attacking and then trying to hide. There are only a few of these guys and to be honest if they do that I just wait until their active and then destroy them then.
The only difficult ones are the ones that then ascend you cannot trace these easily as their attack logs disappear. ( I do have a technique for making a bloody good guess)
It makes no sense to penalise the majority for the sake of a minority, I do not understand why admin feels that this is a good idea. To be honest players using vacation mode get no real benefit if they are trying to hide, it is annoying but it only defers a reprisal does not stop it, I just check every day whether they are off Vacation mode.

If some people are abusing it maybe make it a total of 2 Vac Modes per month

another useless update that is driving many to the point of insanity with this game!

admin, tho i appreciate your efforts to improve this game your going way overboard on trying to protect players when there is absolutly no need for it

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PEOPLE, STOP MOANING WHEN YOU GET ATTACKED OR MASSED!!!
ALL THESE STUPID UPDATES AND ATTACK LIMITS HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE BECAUSE PEOPLE MOAN AND GROAN WHEN ATTACKED!
REBUILD MOVE ON AND LIVE WITH IT, DAMMIT, THIS IS A WAR GAME, LET US WAGE WAR!


admin please i am begging you, remove these useless limits and updates, if people cant handle being attacked they shouldnt be playing this game in the first place.
