I am all for dessention just not at the cost of losing main build ups. I think that being kicked out of asscention server is plenty of punishment for being desended.

Also the top player could keep it free of others then, It could simply be an alliance of 200 people who decend anyone who comes up and it would put a grinding halt to people who play the game. And either way because of blunders with problems with past updates I hope that forum gives advance warning, and plz let market be up before trying this.

First of all getting to living god +1 isn't a year of work, few months maximum. Secundo, if you get descended it means that you loose power as an ascended being so it would be just normal that your main account, which is using the ascended bonuses, be powered down a bit.

Okay, for one if your in a alliance. Your alliance will defend you on ascention. Why didnt anyone think of that?? And it wont be reduced to 20 players... I mean why would someone go on a owning streak just to remove some newbs? I mean i know alot of strong people in ascention.. G.A. controls ascention! G.A. has like 100-300 people in it. So think about it, if you really want to die go start something with one of there members. If you dont want to decend or not have to go on vacation on main and ascended. Then stop being a idiot and leave alliance members alone. Say bye bye to farming people!!

That is what the update should be about. Stopping people from using Ascension as a way of getting an uber race with no drawbacks at all. The cost is high, the rewards are high, the risks should be just as high.

If you are a LG+1 and your Ascended account is on vacation mode then what are you doing? You genuinely wasted the resources you used to Ascend. Forum's original vision was probably Living Gods in Main with equally powerful Ascended selves (which would fit in with his original comment that it would take people a long, long time to Ascend six times). We all discovered this is not the case when alliances started fast tracking people through their six Ascensions, so that they could continue with business as normal on Main but with an uber race. Not really what was intended, and it is quite right that when Descension rolls around this "strategy" will encounter a serious flaw.

You can't claim ignorance to Descension either - the idea has been knocking about the forums since Ascension was released, and there are hints about it scattered all over the Ascended game (references to personal damage etc). True you might not have known exactly what it is, but how much of a leap is it to go from "Descension" to "very bad thing"?

I fail to see how what I suggested would alienate people from the ascended server - what it will do will actually force them to PLAY (P-L-A-Y) the ascended server - rather than just 'using' it.

And you are too quick to judge what the 'rich players' would do. Yes, they might just send you back (if and when decension is introduced) - but they are only really likely to do this if you have annoyed them in Main - I very much doubt they will be searching the ranks of teh ascended just waiting for random people to come off PPT!

And, as satted, it is likely to be very difficult to descend someone - even for the rich and powerful - and would, I would think, seriously weaken the atatcking player also.

I don't know...I don't have one maybe!

Also emma it can take that long when you do it on your own and don't play as often as some...it may have only taken 6 months but still a lot of time, takes 4 months if you don't have the naq to get in top 100. was higher at the time though.

Also I find it hard to play that much. I have a hard enough time keeping up in main and it took all i had to go through the past, and now I have to do it times 2. Sry but I lack some of the time needed to do that. So if it came down to it I would have to just give up on it and throw my 6 months (for some more or less) out the window.

I know I will have to live with what Forum does but I didn't have any idea I could lose all that when i started working on it. I will be in admiratio of some like ghoul and others pianomutt2000 if anything happens.

I would say inform yourself about the risk first, before ascending then...

Because this Ascention abuse is gone too far to be ignored.
Also.. high-ranked Ascention players won't search for new Ascention players to 'downgrade' them...
1: It is a 'waste of resources' actually...
2: Who wants to make enemies... normally people tend to keep that to the minimum.

Also, Refresher, I am under the impression you refuse to carefully read the reasonings brought up...

the servers are not fully seperate , they are linked you n00b ....

you ascend in main it resets your main accoutn but boosts your ascended account, you deascend in asc it kills your asc acc and your main acc or ssomething along those lines.....

It is not the same as linking main/qw/chaos

Saying that they are is just so dumb....
