I suggest the addition of a spot for players to enter a msg for others to read on their stat page. I also suggest that maybe planet names be "planet namish", but people want to name their planets things like "you rethink it" or "I will rape you after this war" or "Im baaaaaaaaack from vacation :)".

Ok :)

Let's just let people name their planets as they see fit (while respecting the guidelines), everything is already fine ;)

Lets just say "Thematically" this is not true at all.

*Klaxons sounds*

"Unscheduled off-world worm hole activation"

"Where is that coming from Lt.?"

" 'I will rape you after this war' Sir."

"Excuse me Lt.! MP take him away!"

..So?
You can call them whatever you want as long as it's not obscene, I don't see a bad side to that.. It's like the mothership.. YOu don't have to give a RP'ish name to your things..

OK.

And some how I feel like I would be wasting my time explaining what "Thematically" means.

Have a good night.

The suggestion still stands... because it is a SUGGESTION.

Its to bad I didnt make this suggestion to add a "msg area" 6 months ago when I first thought of it. But now that there are planets to defile people act like I am stealing from them for making a suggestion that could only add to the game.

No reason?

More area to get your msg across...
"Thematically" pleasing...

I am going to bed now. Call me what you like, say what you will about the suggestion. Is was a suggestion, one that would not detract from your game play in any way, but could only add to it. Don't like the suggestion, tough I made it anyway :)

this is only for good suggestions and you arent giving a reason for yours its pointless we cant just add all silly suggestions because they are there

you really are new at this game making a suggestion like that it should be locked

Woah... Maybe people should chill a bit. Surely the idea of a message area on someone's stat page is great, far better than trying to make it clear what you want to say using planet names (and what about those of us who have no planets?). But also, what's the point in putting any kind of limits on how you can name planets? With a message area it's likely that more people will name their planets things that are not messages anyway because they won't need to.

This is such a simple idea, it's great :D Being able to say what you want to buy and sell, or telling someone the consequnces of farming you (a lot of bluff and bluster I expect lol), easily saying that you are recruiting and showing what the benefits and requirments are for being an officer... There are so many uses that it would be impossible to forsee them all, obviously it would have to have a certain limit to it. like 1k characters or something, to stop it getting too big :)

crap idea, some powerful players dont name their planets at all and 1 is realy low in defence and when you finaly figure out which 1 that is you randomize it and you attack the wrong planet and loose your fleets, just leave it the way it is, plus reading some of the messages in the planets are fun to read :D

Guys, 1 thing: planet names are already being restricted a bit...

I wanted to change one of my income planets (if you want to ask this: no, they aren't worth stealing it yet) to 'Income... worthless' it replyed with something like: "Please choose another name, this is offensive".

Well since I am suggesting that it randomize only after the owner renames the planet... and if you made it so that you can not have no name in there, and maybe none of your planets could be named the same... maybe even you can only rename them once... do all that and I don't see how you would lose the planet you were looking for.

Then again maybe just adding the msg area without touching planets would have been the best suggestion of all.

Lifebringer, thank you for your overwhelmingly positive feedback. I am sure you are a wellspring of wonderful game enhancements yourself.

Hidden, I may not be able to brag about my former post count or my former infamy, but I have been in this game for some time. Please refrain from slapping with the noob title.
