Slight suggestion concerning asgard holos

dude , u're still proposing a disbalancing feat ie. reducing the effectivness
of one race's special while the other races maintain their own.
u dont like the tinny buggers.. but they're SG1 best friends :p

the 50 use holo would be easily exploitable with 1 AT hits , this would remove
an asgard account's tech while the other races keep thier own - making asgard accounts easier to mass.
its simpler just to remove race special tech from all races when they are ostracized , while making 30 days inactive accounts become ostracized.
Vacation should be the way to protect your account while away , not farm mode.

no because it only activates 15 % of the time anyway therefore the number of turns needed to strip it is exponential

and because it dosnt affect active accounts just dead ones there is no "unbalenceing

there is no unbalancing from this and i like it. asgard holograms happen slightly more often than tauri rapid evacuation. those happen more often than the nearly non-existant/triggering repli and goa'uld techs. repli/goa'uld techs just ressurect a pitiful amount of units making it not worth buying.

yes but the activation of other race techs on dead accounts do not harm active players wich is wrong look ime an asgaurd and I get wound up hitting holo's on ostracised asgaurds this unbalances nothing it just means people can farm/raid ostacised/dead accounts without wasting turns THATS ALL

the only posible way i could hurt you is if you didnt log in for a month and your account would have been farmed raided to dust neway so theres no reson to get all stuffy about it

i agree that holos are a problem when farming inactive accounts ..
but the holo tech is also a great asset for ACTIVE asgards players
if u want to do it right think it through and make all inactives become ostracized and all ostracized lose their tech.

dont all the tech have 15% chance?
if u want to propose a game suggestion make it game wide not race specific.
ie. u want a player triggered special - make it for all races not just asgards.

in theory all hab a 15% or so chance of triggering. most replis/goa'uld i knew saw it trigger far less often than tauri/asgard. those asgard officer logs i've seen were more like 40%

but sometimes i think it activates on like 25-30%.
and the coding should be reworked that if you attack someone and you hit a holo, you will never again hit a holo when attacking the same person until you attack someone else. makes sense when you're on warpath and you lay siege to another account you know where the real place is so you won't get diverted away anymore. but once you leave the area you can't be sure anymore.

dont think so, asgards are one of 4th races.. their tech must be better than this.
PS: definition of inactive account : an account that wasnt logged in for
30 days.
make those accounts ostracized and its even more clear.

ok, but if someone tries logging in he becomes un-ostracized. would of course count only on those people that got octracized this way

well... about the holograms... they work and it's fine. You wished to farm and asgard, so be it. you take the risk...

well I didn't want to do any balancing. since actually everything stays the same.

Nothing gets changed and such a change has no point nor would make any sense with the other races. (I mean goa'uld tech sucks anyways, and repli isn't too much better) only one comparable is Tauri (but dunno. never played them)

I see no reason why this couldn't be implemented with the ascended races too. Why would they need to "recharge" blessing? well let's say they would have to pray to their gods once in a while to get this "support".

I agree with refresher. Why add an update that would only help 1/4 of the time? Ostracizing accounts that haven't been played after a certain amount of time makes more sense. Same with the removing tech thing. If you were ostrasized for not playing, they should make it so you can log in and become un-ostrasized.

i would also add that ostracized accounts shouldnt have been left with the covert lvl either, i seen some ostracized accounts with covert lvl 30,31,32 .
they cheated , that lvl should be removed.

big deal. I mean what's the point of covert levels if most of them don't even have many spies left.

Well, ostrasizing accounts is a bad idea in the sense that it would make players need an even better rank to ascend and get g&r.

Possible moddification would be simply a time charge....

say every time you log in it resets a timer so if you walk away from your account for over 4 days it will stop holos from being used, this can prevent people from forgeting to charge it and simply makes it a no sweat thing for people who play
