most damage done might not actually mean the winning of a war...

ie... an alliance has more newbie members who gets massed and don't really contribute/ can't contribute much to the war... then the alliance with more noobs would have a disatvatage in this system

but it's nice system, where real damgae can be checked...

How about PPT can't be bought during an alliance war instead? otherwise PPT would be useless.

well... ppt should still be allowed...

it's their problem if they want to waste resources on PPT

there might be a penalty for PPT on the points system maybe... :?

hum, that is IF they declare war back

voids the Nox insurance if the person attacking you is a declared war of yours -individual or alliance.

Seriously though (forgot to say this and before admin goes ungratefull little so and so) It is a cool update I like it alot, however I think the following "rules" should be added..

1. PPT's become null to people at war. So if both alliances are at war they can attack you even if your on PPT, PPT's will still be valid to those not participating in the war.. So if Alliance A and Alliance B are at war with eachother and person X in Alliance A has no Defence because he has been massed/sabbed and cried to their mommy about it :) then a Person who is not in Alliance B cant attack Person X in Alliance A

2. No quiting an alliance if both are at war.. This is cowardly and was seen all throughout the CF war, the amount of people massing not only me but others too in GA during the war was unbelieveable, I had about 15 attack pages of people who were "ex" CF massing me, I simply PM'd them and asked if they were ever in Crystal Force 99% of the time they were.. Annoying little fact that these guys missed out on their massings because they were not on the Alliance list..

3. 50% damage to those outside the war If your alliance is at war with Alliance B then anyone who is not involved within the war can only do a certain % of damage to you.. I used 50% as an example maybe 75-80 would be better.. But I think this is only fair as if your in a war and random attacks are caused on you does that mean that is added to your total damage during the war? I'm sure I read somewhere that the most damage done to an alliance wins..

4. Ingame message Probably already there but there should be an automatic ingame message from the alliance leader/Second in Command saying that your Alliance has gone to war with Alliance B, you should be prepared for multiple attacks on your realm etc...

Other than all that great update but I think that some if not all of those should be viewed for future consideration to be implemented...

The alliance leader should be able to declare WAR with an entire alliance, and declare PEACE with an entire alliance.

This was one of things with alliance wars multiple people wanted.

think about this, person 1 from alliance A is on PPT and away for 2 days, alliance B declares war on alliance A. Person 2 from alliance B hit's person 1 for 100+bil without person 1 having any chance to do anything.

totally unfair, unless it is set up like if you are already on PPT, it is left alone, that suggestion should only work if the alliances were already at war.

also... how are people to rebuild? some of the stronger player can rebuild easily, but some of the smaller players would have to struggle to just fix what's left of their account... and maybe scrounge up the last of their rescources for PPT...

I've got a complaint about the Record keeping for the wars..In no way does it show you the damage actually done to either alliance..You attack, and your strike action is added to the "Damage Done to Target" field, it is the same whether it be a 1-turn attack, or a 15-turn attack..It has no relation to the damage actually done to the target..

For example, if a player with a huge strike spammed 1-turn attacks on an some undefended target, that would have a huge affect on the Total Damage Done, but it was pointless damage, and it didn't actually cause any damage to the target..

So, as opposed to how it is now, where it simply tally's the strike action of the attackers, some clever forumla needs to be setup to calculate the damage actually done to the target, and show that. How it is now, the records serve no purpose and don't tell you anything about the war.
