Surely if this were to be implemented then turns would only be purchased by the richest most powerful players. If the market were that dynamic then the only use which remotely new players (I'm talking upto at least 3-4 months old and that would steadily increase as time went by) would have for it is to sell their turns for Naq, with a proportinally smaller amount of trading done for lifers and UU.
Turns would quickly be worth so much that it would always be more profitable for people to sell them for naq rather than use them. The only reason they would be purchased is for rich players to use to mass and go raiding (pushing the price of UU sky high as well). Essentially the rich would get richer, and the poor proportionally poorer.
All of that would have a drastic effect on the real world value of weapons etc.. meaning the whole game balance would go out the window, which basically means the end of life, the universe, and everything.

balance???
there currently is NO balance in the market. you act like everything would spiral upward in cost, but you are wrong.
All of the goods would stagnate at a market price, who knows what that would be, but if it were too high, it wouldn't be worth it to the more powerful players to buy even for massing or raiding. so then even they would start to sell turns. Sure, noobs might not be able to buy turns, but it would drastically benefit them to be able to sell them at a reasonable price, and they would be able to buiild a respectable account at some point.
honestly, do you think a new accountis better off being able to raid for a few 10's of thousands of UU per week, or to be able to drop a few billion worth of naq into UP.
part of the concept of an open market is that is allowed to balance itself out. with the current system, there is no balance, and with a dynamically updated market there would be. not to mention, it would influence the private market, and influence the prices there in a good way.

I disagree. The market how it is provides the only way for a new person to grow at a fast rate.
Even with how it is right now it is still far better for newbs than it would be if it was 'realistic'.

but if turn prices were to "spiral upward" as some have speculated, then wouldn't noobs be able to sell the on resource that they get on the same scale as everyone else no matter what for HUGE amounts of naq?
Noobs would actually be able to build a respectable account with the naq from trading turns, instead of a rediculous artificial source of turns
when they are available on the market.
Their entire game plan wouldn't be entirely dependent upon how long it has been since forum last fed the market.

But as turn prices jump up it quickly becomes pointless for newer people to use them when they can make so much more selling them to others.
The market becomes something like Chaos where I lower player just sells their at's for naq and end up making more naq that way than they could possibly hit for.
At the same time the ammount of naq that higher players would have to hit for would jump substanstially, same with raiding.
And noobs would no more be able to build a respectable account with the naq they get from selling their at's to high ranked players than they could from selling their mt's currently(About 9-12 bil bonus). Besides, should a noob really benifit more from selling their at's than they coulf from just going out and taking it themselves?
I do agree, something needs to be done with the whole running out of at's thing, I just believe that making the market realistic would hurt newbs trying to grow faster than just by their UP alone, and would thus hurt the game in the long run. The market allows for people to catch up right now if they work at it alot. In a way it allows for unlimited growth and thus more activity within the game...I do not want to see this aspect gone.

Well if your concern is the attack turns rate going sky high just wait untill the market resets lol. But if attack turns are running out the price will go up to buy them but they will get less for their money. Eventually other players will see a profit in selling them and thus through just dealing could make a profit.

why dint we just nake the market really cheep like it was in the beggining so the smaller players could use it to its full extent and it wouldnt effect the stronger players because they can alreadyafford it with ease anyway...

lets see i started BEFORE the raiding came into play.
it took me a LONG time to get the first 10K uu. Yes, you had to get them via up only! and starting with 1mil or something didnt speed things up!
NOWADAYS you get bout 500uu in average per 15 turns raid. that are 20 attacks to get 10K or in other words about 300-500 turns or you farm the masses of abdoned or banned accounts out there for 100mil and more. to buy 14K lifers from market = 3 bil naq -> 3bil earned by farming 100mil farms. =30 attacks => 450 turns
per week you make without any market 338 turns . and now tell me how the game makes it harder for new players to grow?

I still maintain that the market should be updated i.e prices fluctuate every turn.
