the whole point of this is to cripple ppl why are we so nice in a war game, if i go to war i want to devastate the other person and as for it would leave the weak players in bits, why would a powerful player mass a really small player?

No this idea would never work...I remember when I had a top 10 MS and could crush about any MS sent my way without taking damage. Players with top 30 MS's would blow everyone elses out of the sky.

if the only thing that changes is 450mil price to rebuild it, it just doesnt seem worth implementing....
another way to put it would be after 200 turns used against mothership after 0weapons/0shields/0fleets gone it would be un-usable, and you would have to pay 200mil to 'repair mothership'
it would lose 1/4 all slots, or 450 to repair it (excluding rebuilding slots)
and it wouldnt go any further than 1/4 all slots because ms wouldnt even go in battle after the 200 turns used against it, and after 'repairing' it, you would have it at 3/4 slots it had previously and 0 weps/shields/fleets
after repairing it for battle, it could be damaged enough to lose another 1/4 slots

no to losing 1/4 slots. if slots are damaged destroyed it would cost too much.
maybe damage can be done to slots but they get put into a repair bay (not destroyed) and for a naq cost u can repair them to make them useable again

well i think if u do that with the ms u should be able to do somin silly like if u raid form more than 10 k uu's ur whole acount starts agen

why would you realm collapse b/c 10k men were stolen? that makes no sense, your mothership blowing up becuase its been hit continuosly does. only reason why ppl are against it is cost of rebuilding

Er... to come closer to both Martin's idea and the comments of others...
I'd suggest that if a certain amount of slots (100) for both shields and volleys is reached, an MS can't explode, but it would still have to be repaired (concurring the whole idea). I understood the reason why behind it... with this, planet thieves are outplayed and outnumbered unless they buy slots for shields&volleys....
