or make it to be 1 turns worth of your up.
so it's worth for everyone

i dont mind that id make million a week :D :D :D.

it would be better, remember newbs still use this alot, if it was say 50-100uu per click that way a newb could get a few thousand quickly and get more into the game

lol I doubt anyone actually uses the links since most just get a friend to give them some UU to start out with, thus skipping the difficult stage.

If someone (newbie) asks me to click their link now I just have to give them a few k so they do not have to suffer ingame.

You would be surprised how many still uses this link...and me having a huge msn list is showing to be not always so good...

Dont spamm me with links please....10 UUs per click would surely mean more ppl bugging me to click their links etc.

I dont mind for friends etc...but I just cannot click for everyone it would become a part time job... :P

Similar updates have been suggested before. However it seems that this is a part of the game that most people have forgotten even existed, just like the commander ranks. Some of these areas seem long overdue for an update. On the other hand, the recruit link was initially meant as a way to encourage players to advertise the game. At this point, there's already a lot of players so advertising doesn't seem to be a priority anymore. That said, I think it would be nice if the links were made useful again. Would give alliances a way to help eachother out. Give another way to make some extra UU, instead of raiding. I once suggested that the amount of units per click should be related to a person's UP, in a non-linear way. Higher UP means more units per click, but as your UP rises, the benefit of clicking still gets relatively smaller. I'll give an example.

Say the amount per click is the third power root of your UP. Here's a table of what you would get at certain levels, and what the maximum per day would be (knowing you can get at most 50 clicks a day). Final column shows max/day relative to UP.
UP - UU/Click - Max/day - Max:UP
1 - 1 - 50 - 5000%
100 - 4.6 - 232 - 232%
1000 - 10 - 500 - 50%
5000 - 17.1 - 854 - 17%
10000 - 21.5 - 1077 - 10%
20000 - 27.1 - 1357 - 6.7%

As you can see, the benefit increases with UP, but the benefit relative to your UP gets smaller. This gives players with a small UP a bigger incentive to find clicks. Since these are usually the new people they are the most likely to bring in other new people. Long time players have probably sent their link to everyone they know already, new players haven't.

The numbers in this example were thought up quite a while ago, when 5k UP's were still rare. With raid introduced, there are easier way for people to get a lot more UU's so it may need some tweaking. The point is, a scheme like this one makes clicks worthwhile, and doesn't give the bigger players too much of an advantage.

nice table... loks like this could work... lets hope it gets implemented...

but perhaps the bonus for the weaker should be larger?

or perhaps the base number should be higher?

perhaps the calculations could be same, but have an additional base number? like + 20 base

how about 1 permanent addition to your base UP per click and only like 50 max per day :P ...... :( doubt it though

Bad Idea to increase it.. I have nearly 600 names in my MSN contacts and then you have my other 2 websites which I could easily put my link there..

Its nice if your starting but nowadays you can abuse it easily

God knows in the last few months I have been annoyed on a daily basis hence why I constantly appear offline on MSN cos I know the second I log on there's 50-60 messages with can you click this please (insert link to crappy lord of the rings game)

I will do it for close friends but other then that I just mass the person who asks me to click their link

It would annoy people more then benefit you as people get really really irrated with it... Imagine sending the link to someone like myself and then you go to sleep and your stats disappear :-D

If you want to increase your army size work on Unit Production.. Try and find a planet.. Get a new commander with a large income to help you out..

Remember the 50 clicks a day limit.

Hmmm, I'd say keep your MSN list limited then. You can click for those you like, and remove those you don't like from your MSN. Or work on your l33t /ignore skills.

Those options are well known to pretty much everyone. The point of this thread is that there's a whole unused part of the game right now, and perhaps a small update could make it useful again.

could be good

Danakor wrote:thats the point though you are basicly advertising for admin when you ry and get people to click your link, so you get 1 UU per click as a reward for actually advertising for him.

More Traffic = more pople who see the ads = more money for admin....

or

More Traffic = more people who buy SS = More money for admin...

either way more people = good

that's true

Now this si the worst idea ever. You know what ruins games when they start? Recruitment links.

The easiest, boringest, noobiest way of getting to the top. Nobody uses skill for newer gaes they either use clicks or a wallet. I dont want to see this game get influenced by clicks no matter what they do.

you dont need to click it, you can, if you wish, but the bonus uu you get could be good

worst idea?
