ie, 2 multi accounts (2 planet thieves), both steal planet from same guy at the same time. He has 24 hours in which he can take them back, but he can only take 1 planet a day, so he can only get one back... his friends can't help him cause planet is in transit, and by the time he can attack again, second planet is long gone.
This could be easily overcome with abilty to retake your planet multiple times. So if scenario like this happes you have the chance to retake both of them back as long as its your planet. And planet is consider yours if you have it in your posetion at least for 24h.

wow, this last update ... i mean WOW. 2 of the updates are great, but the planet one SUCKS! Forum i seriously think your the coolest ever, however, the new planet update is absolutely horrible.
The planet update absolutely devastates legitimate planet thieves, while the multies of SGW now have a complete monopoly on the planet business. Like said a few posts before, multies now can team up on one player, and are guaranteed to walk away with at least one planet. However legitmate thieves can never make the quick sell that they depend on.
This new update means that now the top players/bullies that are signed in 18 hrs. a day will definitely keep their 10 planets, and there will be no middle-men to help the weaker players obtain planets.

I don't understand.
Let's say I'm a multi, and I attack someone for a planet. Once I have a planet it stays with me for 24hours, and can't be moved to another account(or at least that's my understanding of the update). In that 24 hours I either have to build def on the planet to keep if from the person I took it from, or delete my account, neither of which allow me hide where it's going or collect planets quickly.
Once conquered can the person who lost the planet attack the planet and claim it back, or are the attacks just to damage def structures on the planet?
Updates wrote:Planet Conquest
Due to massive player feedback, a planet - after conquering it - now takes 24 hours to 'travel' from the enemy realm, to your own. During this time, only the defender/attacker can interact with the planet. The attacker (new owner) can benefit from it, build on it,etc. The defender (one who lost the planet) can attack it. Nobody else can attack it until the 24 hours is up, and the planet is stable in the new orbit.

ok - the one planet per 24hours ONLY applies to planets in stable orbit... ie - you can attack as many of 'your own' planets as you fee like....
this should address the 'take more than one planet at once' scenario...
and as for "legitimate planet thieves" I am not stopping them... they just now have the added challenge of keeping their booty for 24hours before they can move it on

... not impossible - not even that hard.. .just more costly. those buying planets should now expect higher prices

... and to be able to beat the def that had to be built on them
unlike naq or units, planets were not meant to be a form of currency... or if so, they should be massively expensive to 'trade hands'
i hate to say this, too, but there were far more voices saying 'allow us to defend/fight for our planets, and not have them just disappear into the blue' than "great rules - keep it this way... planet stealing is a key part of the game". My other option was to allow planet owners to 'tag' or 'homing beacon' a planet, at a cost...then find it anywhere, anytime (maybe one use per beacon).... i am still not against this, but i think it would be in addition to, not instead of, the travel time just introduced....

lol what if they steal your planet and just throw it away? Or just go on ppt?

ppt is a tool/strategy and, if this is how one wants to use it, they may.
now if they 'throw it away' .. well... that is their option too -- once you hold onto something, it is always your choice to fight to keep it, or destroy it in order to avoid the fight over the item

.... never is it 100% sure though that you will not get a whooping just for doing what you did though but you at least ensure the fight is not over possession !

Well at least we will be able to find planets when we send our MS out since there will be more abandoned

thank you for the clarifications forum, you always make things seem more logical. However, I think an update like, you can not mass a planet, would have been more appropiate.
And what you said about people complaining that they're planets were "dissappearing" were the ones who put a small defense on a planet and expected their strike action to protect it.
Plus ... there are many more people with planets than there are planet thieves (I'd say 100:1), so it would be assumed many more people would be vocal against thieving; yet there was a surprisingly large opposition to cutting planet thieves off.
One last thing, almost all people were complaining about multies stealing their planets, not the legitimate ones.

I believe this is how it is meant to work for a multi.
I have say, 5 multis.
I first of take one of your planets, ill call this planet a, with one of my accounts, lets call this account a.
Now then, ill do the same with account b, c and d (taking planets b/c/d), and you can only take one planet back per 24 hours, so you take planet d back.
Now assume i have another 3 accounts, accounts q w and e, of which within the 24 hours, i move the planets on to these accounts, and suddenly they are mine (forever! muahahahaha!).
i think thats what they mean

If I read 'Forum' right........if you have 5 accounts and hit 5 planets belonging to the same person they can attack as many of their planets as they like in the 24 hours they are in transit to you. Nobody else can attack the planets until 24 hours have passed and they are in a stable orbit in your galaxy.

just because people never came on the forum complaining about "legitimate" planet theifs does not mean what you do isnt a major annoyance, i mean the other day you massed down the defence of one of my planets and passed it on to your buyer, just because you say your legitimate it makes little difference to losing a planet to you than to a multi

for the scenario when a player takes ur planet then goes on PPT, why dont you make it so that you can still take back the planet because seeing as it is "in transit" it is not yet part of your realm so it would not be protected by the PPT. however once it reaches their realm it should be off-limits just like any other planet they already own when they are on PPT.
just a thought

There is a huge difference, you can't retaliate against a multi as he normally has only fleets, but if it's a real player you can make him suffer the consequences. Rather important, no?
