Did the author of the book steal most of the material from which he wrote the book from, and i'm pretty sure he refuted the possiblity that what he said was real.
Fiction, but some people can't accept that its just fiction, like some star wars fans that make a cult following of Jedis, and follow the Jedi path... Sicne theres over 50k of them in Australia, they are actaully reconised as a religion...

In my opinion the da vinci code is more realistic than the bible. It is true at the time that if you didn't have a wife (through the numbers of betrothals and the inability to have sex when you weren't married) you would not be taken as seriously.

there was a court case against dan brown by a group of guys who had published a book which also claimed that jesus had children with mary magdalene, but they failed.

By Richard Dawkins, it is an ok book but it is a little too basic.

Apologies come_forth...I was unaware that your intellectual superiority extended past those of one of the three greatest minds of our time.

 dan! thats not like you to read a book like that!? and u think old richard is one of the three greatest minds of our time? Surely John Searl, AJ Ayre and Bertrand Russell Deserve the Titles of the Three Greatest Minds of Our time...Im not sure Dawkins has had such a big enough contribution to be given such a name...although I suppose these are all philosophers..does a great mind have to be such..(lol..I believ it was aristotle and his cave drawins analagy that said yes to that question! although it could have been socrates I can never remember what it was because their works were so similar.. something I dont know..now my mind is throwing Plato at me! AHHH!!!....must find..must find..)

lol...come_forth..i knew who it was by..was just checking it was the same book.. :? He approaches God in an unorgonised manner I beleive were comments given by someone I know who read it..and so i only read the blerb..lol..from what Me and my freind discussed Dawkins only writes on what we have already come to question or learnt..its more for those who want to check their own opinions or learn about the delusion that is GOD...if He can be called a delusion....as we all know there are logical arguments for the existence of god..but ultimately His nature is a contradiction...ooo..lol..and obviously because I have a god complex..my opinionss dont need to be validated..:-D but I think its one I might read before I got to university...nothing like destroying someone elses opinions..and wrightings..

come_forth...we should move thgat one to the consortiums forums..lol..cya there....
