By definition, you would say that is an anime, but to me anime has more adult issues etc in it. I would consider it more of a cartoon, no offence to anybody that watches it, and there was none intended, I know cartoons and anime are by definition the same thing, but to me they are quite different...

Cartoons are animated shows for kids, Anime is a cartoon with a deeper story line for tweenies(sp?...ah well, google it lol) and up, hentai is anime for adults.

Not all hentai is bad. I have seen at least one good hentai story line(though I admit, most are corny and 99.99999999% sex. hehe) But well, as I said. It's adults only. *whistles innocently*

Although it is not a serious anime it is 100% an anime...
I have my doubts about Pokemon etc about being anime though ROFLMAO

Anyways, I highly doubt Poke'mon counts
I've only ever seen one piece a couple of times... and it didnt seem all that appealing, not when there was some Champloo wait for me
Going to download some Neon Genesis "Evangelion" I've meaning to do that in a while, this forum has sorta given me the push I needed.

Yeah it is good...but DEATH NOTE is the most serious anime I have seen so far...and as you like serious give it a try LoL

Whats the story line in Death note, as I'm to slow with my net atm to bother trying to look it up.

thanks, I enjoyed reading what you had written on it. Sounds cool, but what era is it set in? appears to be set in the present, am I correct in presuming so?

I'm looking for a good Mech anime, somthing with people that control the machines, sorta like evangelion, and gundam, but with the mechs more as machines not robots.
I used to know a really good one, but I can't remember the name. Which is a real pain!
The best description I can give of the show was one of the mechs look like a tiger/lion, walked on all fours, (most of the mechs did) and they used weapons mounted on the mech to blow eachother to hell.
Somtimes sword type things or just cannons. I"d really like to find this as it was really good!
