Maybe a better program to detect cheaters.

I work in an industry where thousands of us use a satelite internet provider. As far as i know, it has one ip for them all. How many other people play this game on the same ip? I don't know. I work in the field for as much as 2 months straight! We need to watch what kinda controls we put on, so that we don't block the honest players.

My roommate and i are heavily into this game, and run off the same ip. I think disallowing trading or attacking on the same ip does greatly reduce the amount of multis, unfotrtunately, you will probably never stop it completely.

trading is already forbidden for those having shared IP... we dont know about attacking, but if it is the same as on chaos, then that too is forbidden...

Sorry, but I'm afraid this will not help much at all. The problem is simple. This would allow people to see wether another account is on their IP. Either it is someone else. Meaning it's not a multi so reporting it is useless. Or it is you. OMG, you must be a multi. Better go report yourself right now. Hmmmm, right....
Reporting that someone is not a multi is pointless. I can already see admin's inbox. Getting mails from iceman1 through iceman20000 stating they did not know the others were playing from the same IP. It's easy enough for a multi to lie.
