I dont really care about the opinions of most players who do play, but, heh, if they've been around a long time sure why not

Also, IMHO, people who visit the forums but dont play truly are sad.. unless they have some type of job such as ADMIN or supermod. Apart from that, they gotta be pretty sad...

I voted number 2 as a lot of ex-players have a good insight into the fgame and although they have war monger a bit they do have th eadded bonus of seeing conflicts for what they are

I see what you're saying - but don't entirely agree....

This game has, for some people, been part of their lives (in some cases a big part) for a long time, and so it isn't that simple for people to just completely cut themselves off once they stop playing. Had I not been a forum Admin I would probably still, on occassion, visit the forum - even if it was just to see what the latetst crackpot idea regarding planets was - but I grant you that I wouldn't visit as often as I still do.

Judge each post on it's own merit and if you dont like what's said ignore it.

Non playing posters are no different from anyone else but are better than player with no balls who post with a diferent name

Thats a good comment about people with forum multies, there's far too many of them. Obviously some are ok, but others obviously enjoy stirring up trouble, I wish I knew who they were so I could start ignoring them properly (Ok ok ok... I might mass one in particular first )

And I want to make it clear that people who still visit the forums who have constructive and objective comments to make, are more than welcome IMO, ex players who have proven themselves knowledgable and skillful players are also more than welcome. It's the people who like getting a reaction out of others, causing trouble and generally giving their opinions when they are rarely wanted, that annoy me. At the end of the day... these people no longer play, if they have nothing worthwhile to add to the SGW community, then why don't they do something more useful with their time (like watching paint dry).

Wizard can be seriously annoying at times, but it's certainly not all him either, there are others, I'm not going to go roll calling them all out, thats basically going for personal attacks, and I've no wish to start doing that. My comments, harsh as they may sound to some, can be interpreted however the person reading them wants. If they feel angered by them.... Well there's probably some truth in them then, the truth hurts. If not, then what are they worrying about?
