indeed, nice updates! referrer is annoying but needed and we will get used to the id search fast.

concernign the planet page, maybe some drop down menus might clean it up a bit, but might also make it bit more complicated.

OMG, you might actually have to work for the spy level/whatever. you might even have to work as a team.

maybe you might even need to use SKILL. OMG, NOT THE SKILL.

Thanks for the sarcasm that wasn't needed. I appreciate a good slap in the face. :) However I believe I misread a couple of the updates on the bank, so I'm fine on the updates now.

I think there are 2 things I don't like about the updates right now
1) (and yes I know this has been said before) The planets page is *VERY* difficult to understand now. I do have some suggestions though

a) instead of moving everything to it's own line, keep the original layout, and add a second line for the new options. This would keep consistancy with the old design, while adding the new functionality
b) for the "add ___ Days of power to MPDSD," field, have it default to 0 instead of the number of days you have. This prevents accidental use.
c) as for the beacons... a beacon cost is a static amount, why not have the cost per beacon increase? (i.e. 1 bil for the first, 2 bil for the second, 3 bil for the third)

2) I don't like that using the market for a PPT doesn't grant the supporter bonus goods any more. just my $0.02, but maybe have it grant 1/2 of the bonus goods would be in order

As I said, this is just my $0.02

My only question is with the addition of this MPDSD are planets still protected by a PPT or are they able to be attacked even if the player is on PPT (hence why the MPDSD has been added)?

And the only thing I can see that I would maybe change is keeping the bank size increase with market bought PPT. You can still leave off the other bonuses, but with the effective taking away off over-banking (which I'm in favor of) it's now hard for smaller players to gather and store large amounts of naq for things like covert levels, etc. Maybe you could even write the code so that once you hit a certain bank size (say 500bil or 1tril) you no longer get the bank size increase, but at least that way the new players can catch up to players who have two years of bank size increases.

I love the updates.

The banking system should bring some strategy into play.

*EDIT

Apart from the referrer :x

Good question... if a planet has been taken and then abandoned, and you have a beacon on it, can you send your MS to go explore for that specific planet?

I am really really impresed....updates are good...no more then good...although in some fields they benefit me and in others they dont....and I am sure this is how it is with all players...the most scary one about planets is I think for THE HATS OFF TO YOU forum section.

BEACON....great...
12 h abandoning
bank size etc....

All of this three in a way efect multies...and are good at protecting you against them...( there are always gaps etc...but again...another great jump not a step was taken forward)

And as for

GETTING MORE then one planet back
I think, well I am speachless was sure this will leave the BLACK MARK on this updates...but as forum nicely put it...if you do play the game the way it was ment to be played...and if you do make use of the tactics that are here on our disposal...the planet reamin another factor in disputes...wars etc...

Great update...it sucks a little in the begining as we all hate get use to new things...but in general from my point of view...I think this is a WELL DONE JOBE.

Thank you for the effort Jason.

Best Regards: SVARUN

I'm a little concerned about the "play the way it was meant to be played" idea. It seems more and more rules are coming out forcing players to grind along, everybody doing the same thing. So what if someone has more fun devoting their account to stealing and abandoning planets? While I dislike planet thieves, they hold a very integral part of the game. Making rules to pigeon hole people into playing a narrow style is absurd and unfair.

It seems everytime some thinks outside the box and discovers a way to either gain power quickly or annoy power players, new rules are created to put an immediate stop to this style of play.

If there's a bug, fix it. If there's a hole, patch it. But don't force people into playing the game that you invisioned during creation. Don't force people into playing your game. Let people play how they want to play.

Yeah you forget that as it's forum's game he can make it and thereby make YOU play it anyway he chooses. If people want to to play a game their way, then they should make thier own game.
