I think they would see it has a beacon on it.
I mean, if you caught a new planet into your orbit you wouldnt miss the big red flashing light

Could you find a big red flashing light on Earth some where?

I doubt they would know it has a beacon....and besides im really intersted in this because of all the planets being stolen..and i don't mean by normal players....but there are so many multi's out there...and we alll know what happens....they steal one and after 24 hours the planet disapears...this was really a great idea by the admins...

If you activate the beacon does it give any defense or stats on the planet?

No def stats on the planet Ciryu....you have to spy and find out yourself sadly..

Was wondering... if a planet has a beacon and gets stolen and abandoned, how long should one wait till activating the beacon? Just that surely its takes time for someone to find the planet (and you don't want to activate the beacon and get told that its floating around in space somewhere)

Along the same lines, I'm wondering if you do activate the beacon after it has been abandoned and before it has been picked up, does it simply tell your ms where to go to grab it from free space? Or is it simply a waste of a beacon?
It would be nice if it told you no one has it and gave you a "go get it" button.
Has anyone tested this yet?

I've read somewhere that it just tells you it's in open space, nothing more. So a waste of a beacon.
Don't quote me on that though
