Once someone has hit the maximum covert level, they can up their covert level by buying spies (which would carry a multiplier of around 16,000 each minimum) in a very similar way to improving your attack and defense after you have bought your last siege/fortification upgrade (which has been proven as a good system and hasn't suffered from any 'sneaky' manipulations).

Your theory of a natural limit occurring because of the doubling of the price doesn't account for the other methods people have been using in gathering funds.

Should sabotaging other people be easy?

heres the thing all u need to do to not get sabbed is to have 480 spies on the top level. once you are there someone will lose more naq in sabbing a big weapon than the person who losses the weapon. the big weapon cost 167800 which is equal to 48 spies. therefor sabbatoging becomes a thing of the past unless someone in a very low rank makes u angry. i agree that sabbing should be hard but thats why the levels cost so much.

The same could be said for attacking, with repair costs. Maybe there are other things that may need tweaking as well (perhaps a greater potential for damage in sabotage attacks - ie. not limited to one or two weapons) but I think it will make the game better.

well the thing with sabbing unlike attack is that everyone losses. when u attack and win u get their naq and can fix your weapons. when u sab u get no naq and lose 10% of the men that u send. the only way to make it possible to sab is to have a high effectivness so u don't have to send as many units to sab people. as well as it is limited to the number of sabs u can do to someone and how many weapons u can take out. even if u can take out more than one big weapon per sab it still becomes out dated when u have to lose so many to take out so little.

See the "Research and Development" thread. We suggested the idea of "Pinpoint Strikes" which could be used to kill spies and cause other kinds of chaos.

Wouldn't it be better if the ''sneaky manipulations" would be stopped or limited?

The usefulness of sabotage would be limited - possibly. Essentially you would have to be more selective in who and what to sabotage, just as attack options are limited. How important should sabotage be in the game - I think perhaps it is too important when people sell all their weapons to focus on covert.

Unfortunately although you (scben) mention those benefits to ongoing covert upgrades, the fundamental truth is that those benefits can first become available to those who will abuse certain aspects of the game.

How? Firstly, how could you stop these occurrences? Secondly, how would it be better? Covert can be improved by spies not just by upgrading the covert level. Why should covert be so blessed as to soar beyond attack and defense in importance?

I think it'll only do good to the game and make it even more 3-dimensional.

I think that's it... getting tired actually... bah, it'll pass off in a couple of hours
