When you get a planet stolen you can try take it back during the first 24 hours. After that if someone else steals that planet or abandons it you cannot get it back.
If you have a beacon attached before it gets stolen then it allows you to find a planet no matter where it is but you can only use it once.

there are a ton of inactives for a long time, banned (cheaters) ppl are ocasionally deleted. and they serve a vital role- targets to raid uu and can also be naq farms.
beacons are tagging devices on planets in case your planet is stolen- u know where to find its location. a thread for this is a few threads below

who needs submarines anyway, those little black boats just keep sinking under the water anyway.

Thank you GAT-X207 !
Reading the attack log, I found someone attacked my home planet , but my additional planet had not given supporting fire ( only my mother ship and the armies on my home planet fired the enemy ). Why?
I used MPDSD points to hide my additional planet. Does this affected no supporting fire ?

You dont have any additional planets...
When you use MPDSD no-one can see your planet but you. Very useful when you get a planet and are building up defences on it and are worried about ppl taking it. Definitely a good idea to use a market turn to get some.

Just looked through the logs of planets I have taken and had taken from me and it looks like its a straight battle between the planets defence facilities and the Motherships fleet i.e for me that would be Drone Satellite Arrays.

Just because have a planet doesn't mean you have a defensive planet.
Each of these planets do certain things, some have additional defense that would help your defense when attacked, covet & anti-covert, additional attack, and my personal favorite unit production. Occationally you can get a planet that has 2 of these.
If your planet doesn't add defense then it will do no good against attacks. You just have to look to see what kind of planet it is.
