1. it depends why they gave it to me, how much it meant to me and how much it meant to them. if it meant nothing to them, ie they could get it back within a few minutes or something i wouldnt pay it back at all. if it was given because im helping them, i wouldn't pay it back. if it meant nothing to me and nothing to them i wouldn't pay it back. if it meant nothing to me and a lot to them id pay it back right away. if it meant the same to us both id pay it back with interest. i'd always remember the gesture that they actaully gave something to me.

3. i would accept the deserters if i was loaning or giving them back but that's just me lol.
4. it isn't expecting too much if your lending it out to them.
