I think so, but more like it couldn't get past a certain point. Vascoconstriction of vessels and surrounding tissue(probabaly external and internal anal sphincters, glut. max, med., and minimus).

It is an immunological resposnce to toxins released into the divers system, responded to by B/T cells, lymphkine production, and inactivating the toxin.

Wrong in a few things though. Vasoconstriction first then vasodialation, increased blood supply, movement of lymphocytes, antibodies, and lymphokines.

The glutes would be numbed, but that wouldn't affect defecation. That would be the levator ani muscles, and the anal sphincters. Glutes work with lateral and medial rotation of the thigh and some other things. Now that I think more about it, I would guess that it was more due to inflamation(rubor, swelling, etc.) than anything else.

That was a confused look, not of shock. Well, shocked by a $1000 dollar vocabulary.

spacey you sound like you should have been an expert opinion for that guy to go to. you could have looked at his butt and maybe picked at it and really given him some moral support.
