Good idea, needs some tweaking. I'd say yes, but only of the damage meter was changed, for instance only count attacks on the damage meter that stuff gets destroyed. well this actually requires the damage meter to be fixed rather than the idea itself. Have several different sections, this might be hard to code though. Have oe that has how many supers killed, how many merc/reg gaurds killed, how many weapons killed, how many spies killed, how much UU stolen, and how much naq stolen. Then if the winner wins by a certain dominate amount, then the alliance is forced to disban and none of the members can recreate an alliance for like 3-4 weeks or something. Because just because the leader can't create, doesnt' mean a member woudnt' and the leader would jus lead behind the scenes.

...if your alliance was totally crushed, defeated why would you want the leader who lost to continue being leader?

They might not want the same leader, but the leader doesn't make the alliance, the members do.
