Supply and demand. Prices go that high because people are willing to pay it.
IF people stop then suppliers/sellers are going to eventually lower prices till people start buying them.

Some good points...
Yes us guys who aren't involved in the war could profit from it IF
we had the resources to sell for a profit in the first place. I rely on raiding to build and at current prices it's simply not worthwhile.

lol~
you say you raid...and you're asking how you're suppose to be making a profit...
GO CHECK!
Few people who are drinking up the AT are raiding!
There are hits with over 100UU/1AT...
There is always profit with war.
For any sized player ^_~
<-- has been farming/ Mass-raiding CIA

Lol, good point...I have a strict hands off policy when it comes to alliances and the one I'm tying to join is trying to stay out of this current war so my pickings are getting slim

all I can say is... it's about freaking time.
turns have been far too undervalued for far too long.

i plend guilty for the increase in turn prices from what they were, well and i take forum along with me.
but it all started when uu was switched to lifers on the market. After turns were doom, well before that raiding uses ALOT of turns. So when i bought 750k turns in the space of 2 days, and just keep control of the market of turns, and jacked up the prices, well not really jack compared to now, only 20uu per turn. It started a treaded that will continue. Now what would be useful, is if forum were to double the market again, doubling all prices thus decreasing the value of market turns, and allowing 2 times the number of turns for access. However this will not stop increasing prices, as the same goes just look at europe, 10 years ago when i came, i could have spend 1000 $, and gotten 4000 euros, now i come and i spend 7800$ for 4000 euros. Inflation is the name, and it's sometimes can be uncontrolable leading to a melt down of the ecom.
Just a little forshadowing....

Yeah like when I could buy a meat pie, a can of coke and a pack of smokes for under $5

.... i dont see the problem ... yeah prices are high as hell so what its around 18bil/1k or 30:1 and thats still a nice profit if you ask me raiding is still by far possible atm and thats that.
