there was a topic where people were posting spoilers and speculating about the episode before it was shown.

And what the heck was with the Ori showing up the second the ship got its technology upgrade turned on??
Damn Sci Fi Channel for cutting the storyline short it was all wrapped up in a neat little box.. grrrrr...

An ending worthy of the name SG-1.
Watch it again and imagine Jack playing. NOW that would have been an episode for the history books!

just saw ep on daily emotion. wow

they took out 2 ori ships

. damn that asgard tech is awesome. though sorry to see the asgard leave the univers

(the present of their legacy is bitter sweet) . the 2 movies look like they are gonna be realy good.
btw with asgard core separatedwat can they still do now that could when it was connected?
hopefully its still 100% functional
its also a very good series finale if you count the movies as separate stuff

I just re-watched it for the hell of it (only the key parts though.) and I noticed a inconsistency.
When the odyssey is about to receive the last blow, they are at dead stop. Carter claims the only way to not get destroyed was to activate the time dilation field. Ok..
When they have to 're-do' at the end the ship is magically propelled forward into hyperspace.. funny.
If they could have done that in the first place, why didn't they do it? Oh wait a minute.. the hyperdrive was suppose to 'fail' when they reach the planet. .... but if it was suppose to fail then why were they able to go into hyperdrive on the 're-do'?
Oh well...
At least the series ended and they don't have to explain stuff anymore.

I loved the episode myself.
I am interested in seeing what they do as far as any continuing story lines being brought up in Atlantis or in the new series they are in talks over.
It was cool actually hearing Thor state that we are the Fifth Race, that brought closure on a major level.
However even with the show over the Stargate Universe lives on and one can ever account for what may come in the future.
Who knows, we could find out that Loki didn't agree with the Asgard's decision and left with a few other Asgard to try and survive rather than surrender, lol.
Only time will tell, hehe.

and does anyone know about the films and when we can expect them ??
THe two filme are;
Stargate: The Ark of Truth - With the Ori forces poised to launch a final assault on Earth, SG-1 must travel to their home galaxy in search of a way to stop their onslaught.
Stargate: Continuum - After Teal'c and Vala vanish, the team realizes that the timeline has been altered and the Stargate program no longer exists. A fleet of Goa'uld motherships arrives to invade Earth, led by Baal.
Both of these are due out at the end of this year.

Tealc already had the hyperdrive crystals with him, he went back to a point quite a while before the ORI ship even shot so there was plenty of time to activate it.

I think with the developments from the last episode there would be plenty of new material to base a another season on and a good one too. Its pretty ironic that the main event is being killed off by its own spin-off show...damn you Atlantis, damn you to hell!!!

Sorry that crystal was for disabling the asgard computer core so they can't be tracked and carter said they can only go back as far as the instant the time dilation field was first activated.
