Well the idea behind what Is aid was that you can take them out in the normal way AND if you want at the cost of huger losses you can knock them out in 1hit. Of coarse if your idea was implemented and we were htiting someone say with 50mil LF then the first way would be better for 3 or so hits.

well, since i am active notso low max lf, but compared to otheres yes, but i did have reserves
and it was a misninfo that got me into the mess
4 from taxo and 1 from hen, tho i DID have to go to vac mode to save my ass as the 6th one wud have surely done it

The reason admin putted in those caps is to protect players from being totally annihalated from people like you Mojo.
I understand what your saying though you want some more credit for your work and i think you should get it too......
But your saying you didnt get anything for all my big ascensions and stuff well i think you already got alot from it your ranked 2 in ascension and you can attack pretty much everything you want without being worried about your account as its not attackable......
Yes more people should have done a better job on ascension and thought better on how to plan it and stuff but its really not fair to just be able to descend anyone if you feel like it......if you wanna play the ascended server alone in a couple months then admin really should remove the damage caps.......
My point is ascension is unbalanced now let me explain why i think it is....
New players dont have ANY chance to get even near the top players even if they would do twice the amount of ascensions you did its IMPOSSIBLE....
Planets arent gained by LF or APP so that takes time to set up as you had enough time already to get it up you will just destroy anyone coming near you
Why do you think Main needs size limits and stuff like that else it would get impossible at a certain point to catch up with the top players
I really dont see a point in doing big ascensions at all as it wouldnt matter i would never get big enough to even scratch you so thats fair?

Now dont flame me right away as i said i think you deserve something for your good work but you already have your big account there wich is a reward on its own.......
People ascending is mostly a big thing even if its not big in your eyes but for them it is making descension so easy would mean the game would die

well after working with some friends i did my first desending. it does work but your going to need team work to get it done.

I don't want to descend EVERYONE. That would be ludicrous. But if a few people get a burr up their fourth point of contact with me in main and, because they did not sacrifice nearly as much as I did but still get a 30% bonus to all of their stats, they manage to successfully mass me and destroy 10 or 12 million UU, I want to be able to rock their world in ascension. Right now, I can't. The fact that you can hide in both main (by selling all of your weapons and untraining all of your covert operatives) and ascension (vacation mode, a slap on the wrist in main), it is literally impossible for strong accounts to effectively defend themselves. If you are going to limit turns in ascension, limit them in main as well. Make it as difficult to mass someone in main as it is in ascension. I want rank modifiers, damage caps, and every other hindrance that is currently in ascension to be applied to main as well. That way, I can hide down in the ranks of the lowly and be untouchable.

Hmm... well looking over the arguments its basically... we put the work in, we should remain at the top and, we didnt put much effort in, but be reasonable, descension was implemented only after you guys had complete domination... So, we need a solution to satisfy both players, to give the lower players a chance and satisfy the big guys.... an ascended ascended server! *Evil laugh*... na seriously something needs to be done, I'm too tired to think atm, will think later though
What if you could ascend again, lose all of your stats, up, planets, personal stuff, and instead of like moving to a new server, it adds 5% to your main account or something?... or adds a different bonus or something?

It's not a matter of remaining at the top. I am firmly entrenched at the top and it will take a supreme effort on the part of someone to dislodge me from the top. But big deal. I can't affect anyone. My main account is vulnerable and I cannot protect it with my ascension account because everyone else who is beneath me in ascension is either so far below me that I cannot attack them at all or is down far enough where the rank mod and the damage caps make my attacks laughable. I cannot help it that I am the biggest and strongest in ascension. My superior intellect and playing skills are coming to the fore I guess, despite the hindrances put in my way.
The only way that anyone is going to be able to catch up to me is if Admin puts in a way for ascension resources to be used to purchase upgrades in main. Which, personally, I don't have a problem with. I will gladly forgo my growth in ascension for a bit to gain some bonuses in main. I have even suggested how he might go about doing it. Power cells, like they have in Quantum. To increase defense, covert, attack, and mothership. Also perhaps letting us transfer a portion of our planet production to our main UP would be nice. It would slow us down and allow the rest of you to catch up.

Had a think about the upgrading main idea... its a bad idea, it would compound the problems we already have with the strong players being extremely hard to catch up to. A temporary bonus perhaps, what about if you completely sacrifice your ascended account you can completely descend another player? like... say you used it, you would basically start again on ascended, lose all planets life force stats etc, but it completely descends someone, not just for two weeks, would that be a big enough incentive for people to use their ascended accounts? mabye even impairs the persons who got descendeds main account... mabye putting them right back to goa'uld/tauri type thing... rather than just losing bonuses forever, would be rather nasty

Players who have been playing longer should be harder to catch up to. That's part of life.

Yeah I agree, Hensenshi, but theres no need to compound the problem.. when the game began it used ot take mabye a month or two to catch up, now its taking 6-12 months to catch up... the game shouldnt be that long term imo... but anyways

I'm not sure what you're suggesting, but if you're saying start from scratch I can tell you that the attack will never be used. What's the point of an unused attack?

Well frankly, it's impossible to catch up in ascended. It's one of the reasons people say the server is unbalanced. The only real way to get anything is time. It's an exponential growth equation like back and Algebra II. As I gain more income, I put more into fleets and charisma, which increases my income, which I use to increase my fleets and charisma. If I start before you do with more, then I grow faster because I get farther up the slope than you, before you. In main, the trading market balances the game because you can sell UU, buy AT, raid, sell UU, buy AT and raid. If you spend more time playing, you grow faster. Ascended isn't like that. It's one of the reasons I love ascended, but at the same time, it's the exact reason I will never have more planets than Mojo Rising. The increase in fleet cost just means his influence increases more as he stops buying fleets and starts buying Charisma. No one will ever catch Mojo Rising or Sinister, unless either of them just plain stop playing and don't do anything, and even then, it's take at least a year, if not more. I am a top 10 player in ascended, and in about 3 weeks, he makes as many planets as I have total planets.
