I have a suggestion: Why not go back to the old way where the person who got hit with the weapon got ALL of the DMU and you freeloaders get NONE of it? That certainly sounds fair to me. You folks do NOTHING to get the DMU and I am giving up valuable resources to make sure that I DON'T get hit with the most broken item ever to hit any of the servers. If I get hit with the weapon right now, I would lose almost 7 million planets - GONE! Bye bye! That is more than most of you have in your entire realms currently. Why should there be a weapon in the server that does such a disproportionate amount of damage based on who gets hit by it? If anything, I think it should be based on your realm size. You can destroy a maximum number of planets equal to 1/10th your realm size. That way, if I hit someone with the SW, I could destroy about 13 million planets, whereas, if someone with 7 million planets hit me, he would destroy about 700K. Also the untraining should be based on realm size too. I am a big fan of 1% per million planets in your realm. That way, I untrain 100% of someone's planets, while the aforementioned 7 million planet realm would untrain 7% of my planets. Then it truly becomes a SUPER weapon. Because let's face it, most of you wouldn't be able to touch me in ascension WITHOUT a super weapon so just being able to affect me should make it worth it.

ummm... no i dont think so. why should they put a super weapon on the server and basically compensate you entirely for everything it does to you? This is an attempt to help balance out the server and i for one think it is a good one. It distriputes the massive amounts of wealth that you higer level guys get amoung the others in the server who truely need it. and it obviously is trimming down the powers of the higher ascended and helping us lowers catch up. The DMU distribution has really helped me to get on my feet. Also the amount destroyed shouldn't coincide with the amount of planets you have because this weapon was meant to make everyone (w/ enough DMU) to be just as powerful as the top ascendeds you know what that is? it is balance and frankly i think it is working.

How about this? GET RID OF THE BLASTED THING! All it has done is cause problems. I think we should just get rid of it in total.

I still think we can get 6 or 8 low ascended accounts to pass it around and then you don't have to pay for it Star.

Star, you're more than welcome to buy the weapon and use it on me. My ascended account is pretty weak overall and the resulting sale of the weapon would just be put into fleets or charisma.

<shrug> Anyway, if you run out of targets to use it on within your own alliance, I would give you my assurance that it would not be used on you or anyone else, only resold. Hell, you could probably even farm back the DMU for all I care. Now that some guy in ascension wiped out most of what I had, my ascension rebuilding is on hold until I have more time to devote to the game and play it properly.

Yeah... I haven't given him a smack down yet. He never even held me afterwards and told me that he loved me.

Send that info my way, My new ascended account needs testing. Well the attack does, the defense has been well tested so far. Found many, many problems with it
