i know what you mean, when you listen to some death metal bands like beneath the massacre where the whole song strait is a solo it changes you

Dragonforce are definitely a favorite. Inhuman Rampage has to be one of the best Power metal albums of all time.

The important thing is the level you played it at. Also by beating the song do you mean, got to the end? I havnt tried GH3 only 2 but if those questions are still relevent to this one they are important!

It was on easy, but my 3rd day having the game. And by beating I mean I got 100% of the notes.

as far as im concerned, there is a level where fast = good, but there is another stage where it gets worse, more self indulgent and a bit 'show-off-ish'. dont like their music, it regularly passes this point.... if they'd slow down for a while in their songs, I.E. if 'through the fire and the flames' level of speed was a rarity, then that would be more listenable.

I think the opposite. Speed is the only thing the band has going for them, because if they played any slower the fact that they aren't good riff writers would become even more obvious (which for power metal, and indeed a metal band in general, is a
very bad thing).
On a more general note, I have Valley of the Damned and Inhuman Rampage, and they're quite enjoyable.

Through the fire and flames and Valley of the damned are the best songs from Dragonforce. They are awesome...

Does get a bit tiring, but a fair while ago i liked soldiers of the wasteland, Fury of the storm, and I'm sure they got some other good ones... REALLY over Fire and flames lol

TBH i cant listen to a full dragonforce song anymore.. i can get the start then few mins in next song
